These are SUCH an improvement compared to the double demountable hinges we had. The amount of adjustments that can be made with these compared to double demountable hinges make the upgrade a no brainer and for the first time ever, my cabinet doors are perfectly square and level.After removing the double demountable hinges, I filled all the holes with wood filler and sanded it down flat so it was like I was starting with a brand new door. I bought the kreg drill bit that was recommended in other reviews, and set it to 3mm per other reviewers recommendations and they turned out PERFECT! The pilot holes even line up perfectly on the kreg. My only complaint about the actual hinge is the space it leaves from the side like others have mentioned but it honestly doesn't bother me that much especially when it looks 500x better than before. My main complaint about the manufacturer is that they don't include any instructions. And the measurements they do put on the package in reference to the diameter are incorrect. The standard kreg hidden hinges jig is a necessity for the installation of these hinges.Fortunately I took the advice of previous reviews and had a flawless install. I was so happy with the initial install on my master bath, I bought 10 more for my guest bath, and 50 more to redo my kitchen!

I bought hese to finish a cabinet project. I'm impressed. Especially for the price, these can't be beat. The work just like the more expensive options. Also, they were the only option I could find with a 1/4 inch overlay. They offer multiple points of adjustability which make them. Easy to install. 26 doors later, I'm glad I bought the Craig jig to make things easier.

I used the standard Kreg Jig to drill out the pockets in the cabinets, these fit fine. Similar to the other reviews, I noticed I could see a gap and the hinge when I look at the cabinet at an angle, but for my use this was acceptable. I am a bit unhappy with the slow close adjustments. The hinges are supposed to have 3 settings but mine only seem to have on or off. They either slam like a regular hinge or take 10-15 seconds to close. I carefully set the level to the medium setting, (which isn't easy to do) but they just act the same as the slowest close setting. I started just putting one hinge on the slowest and one on the lowest which somewhat works but I question the durability of this long term. The mounting adjustments worked well to set the door correctly in place. For the price, these were a nice upgrade despite their aforementioned issues.

Great product just didn't fit our cabinets

I used these in our recently updated kitchen project and was very pleased with fit and overall operation. The Kreg jig that’s available for drilling the pockets to fit these hinges was invaluable in simplifying the job. Reinstalling the cabinet doors using the same mounting holes that the old external hinges used was easy since these hinges offer a lot of adjustability after mounting the door. Since our cabinets were older with some warpage on the carcass, it really helped to line up the doors from one another and set a decent looking gap between them. I only needed a 1/16” shim on one door for the entire job. Love the slow close operation too.

Product worked as advertised. My only suggestion - make sure you do your homework and get the right hinge replacement - know what your overlay is as well as the type of cabinet frame you need to install hinges on. If you get the right hinge for the job you will be golden. These were easy to install - my cabinets were already pre-drilled for the holes - so it literally took me 5-10 min to take door off, remove old hinges, put new ones on, and re-install door. Once I had the door on I was able to use the two screws on the new hinge to easily adjust the door and presto - slow closing cabinet door. Who needs to spend $100s of dollars in new cabinets to get this feature....not this guy!!

Since these hinges require 3/8" depth, and 1/2" is as shallow as the Kreg jig will do, I added this washer on shaft of bit, which gave me perfect 3/8" depth. I had to use the 4mm setting on the jig. I tried 3mm first on two doors and put the doors up to see how they fit. The doors were hitting in the middle and I had to use all of the side-to-side adjustment on each hinge just to achieve a thin 1/16" space. I used the 4mm setting on jig after that and that opened it up enough that I didn't have to use all of the adjustment. One thing I don't like you can see in the pic with the cabinet. This was an extra cabinet I took out so I experimented on it first. I found no way to close the gap you see between the hinge side of door panel and the face frame of cabinet. I used all the adjustment and this is the gap that is left. If you look at doors from the side you can easily see the hinge, which kind of defeats the purpose of "hidden" hinge. All hinges aren't like this, as I have a couple of cabinets in bathrooms that were made by a local cabinet guy and the doors are perfectly flush with face frame. Now, those hinges are three times the price of these, so there's that, but in hindsight I would have spent the extra money on them. Live and learn, I guess. However, the wife is happy with the doors as they are, so as long as that is the case, I'm certainly not going to point it out to her! To be fair to Rok, I do need to point out that my doors (even though 3/4" thick) have a "eased" chamfer edge on the backside of door stiles and rails, which makes the hinges more visible than they would be otherwise.

i replaced my salece non soft closing, 110* 1/4” overlay with these Grass Tec 864. i know they are 108* but they open wide enough to get items in and out of cabinets.super easy to install, as i already had holes on doors from old hinges. even then not much harder just need to measure twice before cutting.very pleased with these hinges

Days after install.....1/4 inch overlay hinges are hard to find, I ordered 2 to test, these work well at time of install. A little more adjustment to move door closer to the frame would be nice but we made do. I would buy again at this point and ordered enough to do our entire kitchen.

Hinges don’t work very well. Bang around like regular $10 hinges.
