They work well for rounding corners. Not really professional grade but for amateur work they are fine.

I know there are a lot of people that complain about these yet I find them to be very useful and after a simple stopping and polishing they cut cleanly through everything up to 8 to 10 oz leather.They are metal tools. Treat them like tools. Maintain and strop often, use a nylon mallet, and they will last.Great value for the money. I use these on silly items and higher dollar custom orders.

The title is misleading, these are not half (1/2) round cutters used for cutting leather straps and belts, these are 1/4 round cutters used to cut square corners to give them a nice rounded edge. Exactly what I needed, so make sure you see the actual photos before making the purchase. If you need to cut belt ends and strap ends, go else where and buy the true 1/2 round cutters, but if you are looking to cut corners of the square leather, you are buying the right cutter.The smaller cutters are sharp out of the box, larger ones requires more force and is a bit dull to use out of the box, but overall great value.

None of these were sharpened. I have to had sharpened and then strop them myself, which added a lot more time to a project that I had hoped. I also find myself having to re-sharpen them a lot more than I do other tools that I use more. So I guess you get what you pay for.

I do leather craft, really just starting. These tools work so well and it saves time and gives your work a professional look.

they are ok, not high end obviously im not convinced they are very accurate as far as half round. But they work and do the job far easier than trying with a knife.
