Can this be hooked up directly to a typical main faucet?

The 3M 3MDW301 needs a drinking faucet. The 3MFF100 has a higher flow rate and connects to a regular faucet.

Now that's quality H2O!

I live in MD and the water quality is subpar so I needed something better than my current 3 stage filter which tends to easily clog up and slow down water flow. This system from 3M has truly exceeded my expectations! An installation diagram is provided and everything you need is included (besides the faucet which I reused from my previous Aquasana kit)
