Leather Kit 22 PCS SIMPZIA Leather Hand Stitching Tools Kit with 4mm Prong Punch, Hollow Punch Set and Wooden Hammer for DIY Sewing

I absolutely love this basic leather tooling kit! It has all the essentials for basic leather craft construction! There are three different colors of very sturdy thread/cording, beige, brown, and black. There are multiple types of needles including 2 hooked needles that make sewing the leather pieces together very easy and aren't usually included in kits that I have looked at. The tools are very sharp and easy to use/cut through the leather. As soon as I got this in I used it to enlarge the holes for my boot buckles as they were too small and hard to push the buckle through to adjust. It worked amazingly!!! I used the smallest size hole punch and it was a perfect size; not too big to have the holes too close together, but not too small that the buckle was hard to get through. I then used it to make a leather choker for my teenage daughter for her Gothic style outfit that she had been wanting but could not find to buy! She loved it and now is making her own leather crafts with this as well. I see many, many more projects to come in the near future using this for myself and for holiday gifts! I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a tooling kit, it is a must buy!

The hole punches are the best part of the set. Arrive nice and sharp. I am an idiot and am taking it out on the product but I did not use the prongs with a self healing mat underneath. Instead my "anvil" was a block of metal thereby dulling the prongs. Will probably have to buy another set. I feel the tool could have advised me the metal was that soft. The wooden mallet may be plain untreated pine. It is just too soft. Get the short brass one pound hammer.

Very nice kit to get started with. Had to buy different mallet as the wood one is a little soft on the head. I have glued some scrapeople leather to both sides and that seems to help a little. This kit would be even better if it had a varnishing tool and anot edge trimmer. But over all a good bit of kit for the money

I am a beginner working with leather. I wanted to make a leather pouch and bought this tool set which has all you need and each element of the set was great.The set is well worth the money. I highly recommend it. I have made 3 leather pouches with it and they all turned out perfect. If you are looking for a good leather making tool kit buy this set.

I’m always looking for something new and crafty to try. Well today my Simpzia basic leather tooling kit arrived in the mail so I decided to give it a try on one of my daughter’s belts that needed a minor repair. I was surprised how easy to use everything was and that I REALLY enjoyed it! The kit comes with a variety of leather tools at an affordable price.

OK, this is not an expensive set, but two of the diamond point chisels (prong punches) bent while making my first leather project. The little wooden mallet is adequate. Have not used the hole punches.

Very basic chisels and hole punches but its perfect for any project. just dont hit the chisels at an angle or IT WILL bend the prongs, happened to me but thats just user error. easy fix with some needle nose pliers. the mallet is very sturdy and well glued. the hole punches are very solid and well made. thank you!

I have been doing costuming for a few months and have to work with leather quite a bit. This starter kit is perfect for me. Just enough of the tools I need at a more than fair price.
