I bought these to replace the worn lift struts on my 2010 Camaro SS trunk lid. Super easy removal and installation of the new struts, took about 5 minutes total. My old struts were worn to the point that as soon as you tried closing the trunk, the weight of the lid would slam it shut. Now the trunk lid is kept open nice and strong and you need a decent amount of force to close the trunk, as designed. Opening the trunk is now nice and easy as well. I try to always use GM or Delco parts on my car, but these were such a good price that I wanted to give them a try. As long as they last then I would say they are definitely worth it.

Doesn’t fit the application it is listed for,don’t buy this unless you like wasting time

The part was installed last weekend and, so far, I have no complaints. What I would like to highlight is that the description mentions 2 pieces when actually there is only one piece.

I definitely noticed the force in the product. The hood of my car raises with ease & stays in place.

This is a MUST if you add a rear wing or spoiler to your camaro. great support now my trunk opens and closes like it should.
