Perfect size for my 1950's walk in shower! All you have to do is choose the height, lock the legs, and put it in the shower corner, assembly done! Still have room to stand in the shower if you choose. The stool is really sturdy. The seat is a type of vinyl that doesn't get slippery when you are soaping up, shaving, or washing hair. It is also perfect for those days you don't wash your hair. It is the size that makes it adaptable for the different uses. The rounded seat is much easier to use than the rectangle shaped style.Yes, I definitely recommend if a seat is all you need. If you expect arm rests to help you get up, this is not the shower seat for you. (You could always get the suction lock bath handles)I have rheumatoid arthritis and there are times sitting is a necessity for me. This shower stool is perfect.

This was one of the few shower seats that was a stool rather than a small rectangular chair. NOT having a back to it makes showering easier though it should not be used by those who may have issues with balance. For our purposes it is ideal because of it's stable construction ( at certain heights) and size. I fits nicely into our bathtub and shower stall which could not have been said for some of the rectangular models. Those may have fit, but they would have taken up some leg space that enables the user to pivot toward the side of the tub or shower to ease their exit.The stool is considerably more stable at mid to lower heights and I would suggest that using it at the top setting would create a wobbly and perhaps unsafe situation. My wife is 5'7" and "leggy" . The mid-height level works fine for her. She finds it comfortable and stable.Assembly was easy but THIS IS IMPORTANT --> Once assembled the patient or assembler should sit on it a bit to put stress on the legs. You will find this loosens the screws a bit as the tubing is pressed tighter to the seat than assembling does. Once this is done, tighten up the screws once again and you will now have a fully tightened sturdy seat ( again at mid or lower height levels ). The few screws and bolt washers require no tools as the bolts are wing nuts which are easily turned by hand.For our purposes this rates 5 stars. I would hesitate to rate it that high if we needed the stool to be at maximum height, which I would not recommend.

Easy to adjust seat height. Lightweight and easy to put in and out of the shower🚿.Comfortable and soft top cushion which dries quickly.Gave 4 ⭐️ stars for sturdiness, because it’s just not a 5! It is a solidly made seat, but I’m 125lbs. I think, if you weigh more than 150lbs you may not feel secure.Bonus bag is functional and lightweight.

This stool was exactly what I needed for short term use. I like the fact that it is aluminum and will not rust. It is exactly as described and reasonably priced for what it is. Assembly is super easy but I did need to do two things for the stool to sit level. First, I used a mallet to tap down the rubber caps on the bottom of the legs and secondly, I turned the stool upside down and pulled opposite legs towards the center bending them inward very slightly. An easy solution ending in victory! I recommend this stool for light use. Be sure your surface is level.

I got this to fit in my stall shower. It fits well. It does not feel that stable getting on and off of it after non-weight bearing surgery. I should have picked one with a wider base and possibly handles.

It's been a long time i reviewed a product on Amazon , but i had to review this product because it is so good , and the fact that it is easy to assemble makes it unique. I also like the fact that you can adjust the height and the seat cover is really comfortable.

I have used this shower chair since I received the chair. It’s easy to assemble and is great in taking a shower the chaoir is so sturdy I don’t have to worry about the chair coming out from under me. I would buy again if I needed to.

I have a normal sized walk in shower and was worried about finding a stool that would fit but also allow me space to move around in the shower. This stool is the perfect size. It's light weight and easy to assemble.
