I use balanced IEMs and this worked for them. A lot of people saying it will not work. No idea why they cannot make it work. From unbalanced to balanced, works well. No drop in audio quality. No distortion or clicking. No interference. It is well made.

Simply works as intended, balanced 2.5mm into unbalanced 3.5mm geekria adapter then into a nx4 dsd portable headphone amp.

Purchased this to convert a 2.5mm balanced cable to 3.5mm unbalanced and it works perfectly. It's well made and feels like it will last with a good connection at both ends. Highly Recommended if you are looking for a connector for the above.

I bought a set of Tin Hifi T3 earphones and a balanced cable to use with a Fiio M9 player and a Cowon Plenue D2. The problem then is that as excellent as that set up is, I'm limited to only using the earbuds with the M9, as all my other equipment uses unbalanced 3.5mm sockets. I was a bit wary of getting this as some reviewers questioned the build quality and said that the audio broke up or channels cut out. I'm happy to say that this is perfect and the jack plug snaps in firmly. I can now use the earbuds with everything, and don't have to change the cable over constantly which would, I am sure, eventually cause its own set of problems.

This does sit securely in the jack and only outputs one channel.

I needed an adaptor to convert my new Ablet HiFi Cable with 2.5 Trrs Balanced Male Compatible with my Sennheiser HD 700 headphones to be able to use the headphones with both my iPod and HiFi system. It avoided me having to return the Ablet cable for credit. I'm very pleased with the quality of the adaptor and the sound quality.

This adapter has made the sound flicker between l and r ears. Arrived fast and well priced though.

Fa il suo mestiere: non ti fa perdere tempo a ricablare le cuffie quando devi andare in sbilanciato. Bisogna fare solo un po' attenzione perché vuole il suo spazio.

普段よく使うお気に入りのイヤフォンをQudelix-5K（ワイヤレス時）に2.5mmバランスプラグにリケーブル（MMCX）しているため、3.5mmへ直挿しするときにケーブルを付け直すのも面倒なので購入してみました。iPhoneのライトニング→3.5mmメス変換アダプター（ヘッドフォンアンプ兼用）経由の接続ですが問題なく使えます。アップルロスレスを十分楽しめます。この価格で、加工精度も良い。今は、ワイヤレスも安定してShure TW2などは手軽に高品質な音を楽しめますが、やはりじっくり音楽を聴きたいときは直挿しヘッドフォンアンプですね。

Para los que dicen que no les funciono este solo funciona para cables balanceados si tú entrada no es balanceada no será compatible para los que no son balanceados puedes buscar otras opciones porque yo lo probé con dos cables balanceados y funciona en ambos y tiene buen ajuste no tuve cortes..
