That was my greatest regret. I learned the book from cover to cover, but when I got to the exam it was a whole different game. Kaplan's material was oversimplified and the practice questions were elementary in comparison to the actual exam. When I wrote a review on their website, they said they'd only process a full refund if I took off my negative review - that should tell you quite a bit about Kaplan. Avoid Kaplan and instead go through the forums on how to appropriately study for such a serious exam. Good luck! ### ⭐ Basic *by L***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2019* Gives the most basic review of all the review companies. The review questions are not the multiple choice questions of the exam, but rather more of short answer (see photo) so it depends on if you want practice and recall, or more of a thinking review unlike the test. Over the years and through several disciplines, I've found Kaplan to have the greatest number of errors in their books and this is still true with this copy. I think there are better resources out there, but this is fine as a supplement.I CANNOT find the practice tests anywhere. They aren't in the book and are not available online. That's why i bought this book but they aren't there and easily accessible. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good option for the textbook type *by T***R on Reviewed in the United States on October 20, 2014* I only had two weeks to prep for the DAT in between semesters and this worked for me. If you are the type who can miss class and still do well by personal study from a textbook this is a good option. I do well with textbooks and this worked for me but i also used other materials. (crack the DAT PAT), and (topscore practice tests).This book is a great start to your studies if you have the time to read. It took me MANY crammed hours to get through it and i took notes as i went. If you have a couple months until you take the test this would be a good start in my opinion.
