Nice way to present the information. Very useful for me as a beginner.

Love this book. Wish I had it years ago.

it's ok, but not what I wanted. There's some nice pictures and some good history, with some good rose classification, but I wanted more insight into actually growing roses and dealing with some issues. There's nothing on foliar feed, is Tomorite really as good as Uncle Tom's? and so on. There's not much on why new growth is weak and deformed etc., etc. But plenty on using roses for perfume and so on.More cosmetic (ie to look good on a coffee table) than helpful.I looked at my old DG Hessayon book and that's much more detailed and helpful but still short in places, that's why I searched for new one. Yet to find it.
