KN-18 Double Ultrasonic Mouse, Rat, Rodent, Squirrel Repeller

I read some of the other reviews, but so far, it works great. I bought this along with the Victor Mini M753SN Ultrasonic Rodent Repeller with Nightlight, 3-Pack. This is all for my camper. But first let me just say, I baited with poison first, and traps, and plugged where I thought they came in, and yet they still found their way in, mostly because my A/C unit is outside. Pretty sure they come n through the ducts. So this year, I decided to go a different route. My wife and I spent an entire weekend deep cleaning the camper, including cleaning the air ducts to try to eliminate trails. FYI ammonia based cleaners are the way to go to erase mouse tracks, but just remember not to mix with bleach cleaners. In any case, after that we installed the ultrasonic repellents and low and behold we are still mouse free. I will update if anything changes. Oh and if you have a dog, they can absolutely hear these and it is quite painful to them. As soon as I plugged it in to test it my poor lab started to whine and scratch his ears. So I unplug them when before we let him in the camper.

I have a rat problem in my garden. I set this up covered from the elements but wide open to my 12’ x 12’ garden area. Near as I can tell, not only did it not keep the rats away, I don’t think it even slowed them down!!! They were eating everything as it grew!!! I eventually went to good old snap traps to thin the herd. Once I found a bait they liked better than my veggies, I was able to harvest!! Maybe this repeller will work better indoors, I don’t know, I don’t have an indoor rodent problem. Good luck!!!

I live in MN in front of a marsh. We are new here. I feed many many birds as it is a new experience for me having so much nature. I did not think with this would come other critters!I have tons of squirrels on my deck that are now damaging it by chewing it! I figured I’d just have to fix it next year.Yesterday I saw a MOUSE in my kitchen! We have four cats!?! I bought this machine being proactive. I found very very little traces of said mouse. In fact it’s truly my fault because of the bird seed. I have been careless.I cleaned everything up and set this up last night. No trace of the mouse! I will be using it every night as well as buying traps. I also put all food away and put in tubs.What has just impressed me is this..... I have made a fool out of myself trying to rid these squirrels off my deck. Strobe lights, I’ve yelled at them... I’ve even sat and waited and used a leaf blower to scare them!?!I have RED SQUIRRELS AND GREYS! They appear to have been body building?! They are aggressive and have not a fear of anything not even a Bald Eagle in a tree! Well, I just set up this little gem outside and ya know what?!? NOT ONE SQIRREL ON MY DECK!!!!!!!!!!! I’m doing a dance in my living room!!!! I WILL be buying more as I had a Mother red squirrel about to give birth in my attic when we moved in , this past spring, that I thankfully was able to have trapped!Buy this product! Give it a chance! If you have a big problem you may need to double up on your “ammo” but I am so so pleased!OH DID NOT upset my 4 cats or my many many birds I feed. From Blue Jays to Chickadees.

The device was easy to install and use. I wish it had a longer cord as we had to run a drop cord up into the attic in order to use the device. For the first two weeks after installation, I noticed the squirrel squatters in the attic were more active than they had been. I figure they were trying to move around up there to get away from the frequency noise being emitted that bothers them. After two weeks, I haven't heard them anymore. However we are leaving the device up there and changing the frequency. Bonus is this rid the house of other unwanted critters. I have never seen bugs in the house, but this device killed off spiders and other such vermin. I started noticing dead spiders and bugs when vacuuming and sweeping. It was crazy. Very effective, but have to exercise patience while the critters decide to move out.

My wife and I recently had a lot of car issues suddenly pop up, it turns out that a large number of rodents have been building nests in EVERYONE'S cars on our block. They chewed through wires coming out of my wife's engine. I bought a subsonic little speaker/strobe unit to put in our car engine compartments. But with just 1 in each car, the rats were back the next night, and we found debris and rat droppings back on our engines. I installed a 2nd unit on the opposite side of our car engine compartments. Then also got THIS speaker unit. I have it hooked up under the wooden eave of our car port, pointing down at the nearby shrubs, and have power running up to it from an extension cord. It's blaring away 24/7 at those bushes. This unit, combined with the now 2 subsonic little strobe units we have in our car engine compartments, have made it to where we have gone for 5 straight days now without any sign of rodents whatsoever. No droppings, debris in the engine compartments, and not one single sign whatsoever of any rodent nests under the hood. On its own, I don't know if this would have done the job or not... but used in conjunction with the little units that go into your car's engine compartment, ,and this thing blaring downward onto the cars, we haven't had any issues since.

Had a squirrel invasion in my home through the attic. They would go into closets, bathrooms, and walls. I set this up initially in a small closet because some were still in it. A day or two later they were gone. I then moved it into my attic, heard them in my walls the next night........haven't heard them since nor seen any signs of the critters. I had decided if it helped I would buy several as I have a large attic in a two-story house. So far did have not had to buy additional units. It is smaller than the picture suggests but it is powerful. I have since purchased some smaller plug in pest control units for closets and rooms it the house just to make sure but so far I think they were probably not necessary. I strongly recommend this particular unit. We have two parakeets and a dog.......no signs that this unit affected them even when I plugged it up during testing in the living room and kitchen.

The unit came with a power adapter that had a european type plug and with no uk adapter.It makes me wonder if it is suitable to use on UK electrics

Maybe it is not working properly — there is no way of knowing. It has not had any effect on our mice. So, I could not recommend this product.

Had no effect at all after 3 weeks so I resorted to other more successful traditional methods - should have known better!
