A good guide for a beginner. I knew very little so this put it in perspective for me. If I move forward with this project I will need more detail on building but to get a good basic understanding this is a good little book.

Total rip-off. Nothing in the way of information you can find for free. Do not buy this book.

Short, very basic not worth buying.

Lots of sound, practical advice and all the calculations you would possibly need to design a solar power system.

Haven't read it all but it's something to have for "Just in Case".

Initially I was going to give this four stars. But when I started thinking about it this was really an in-depth 'how it works' book. That's not what I wanted but to be honest, I almost graded it on my desires not the information in the book.For anyone who's unclear about how solar power works, this book with demystify the process. What it won't do is ready the reader how to put a system together. BUT... there are plenty of those books available as well.
