I'm not sure if I would have liked the rubber tip better, the lack of drag from the metal tip makes the feel slightly less satisfying than the original Google one. Also I worry a bit about scratching the screen, so I might opt to add a screen protector, although I don't know if this would actually be an issue. Overall, for the price, a great deal. Much better than paying $99 for the official Google one.-- edit--So, some further feedback, in case anyone is considering this for the Pixelbook.* Obviously the pen from Google has integration with the Google Assistant, which this does not have.* This pen will register "touches" on the screen, but it doesn't seem to actually register as a "pen" in all cases. For example, an art app that I use which has pen support doesn't seem to recognize it. However, it will work in places that expect just a regular "finger" touch.I don't consider these as deserving losing a star over, because there was never a claim that this would work with the PIxelbook. Then my daughter bought one of these and I was impressed. I ordered one for myself 6 months ago and haven’t picked up the Apple Pencil since. I use it for writing, selecting, highlighting, etc. with no problems. I am not looking to use it for fine detail (think art/drawing) the way the Apple Pencil can be used, so this is my new “daily driver.” :-) I always wanted the Apple Pencil to be more like an ink pen and this is the closest I’m going to get to having a stylus that looks like a pen and works well.The stylus is designed to turn off every 20 minutes or so to conserve battery life. I wasn’t aware of this at first and thought I had a defective item, but I wrote the company and they wrote back to let me know that this was by design. It’s a bit disconcerting to tap and have nothing happen every so often; I just have to remember to turn it back on. The transition from Apple Pencil to the stylus was a little interesting at first because I was expecting it to perform at the same angles that the Apple Pencil does. It does not, but with a little adjustment on my part, I am very happy now with how it functions.In the final analysis, if you’re looking for Apple Pencil capability, stick with the Apple Pencil. If you’re looking for a really nice stylus to use on your device, this is absolutely a great way to go. In fact, this purchase was for yet another daughter who saw how our styluses worked and had to have one! ### ⭐⭐ Updated review *by F***. on Reviewed in the United States on May 1, 2018* So my first review I mentioned how there was no pairing process required wich is nice, but then there’s the other problems that make this not worth it at all, first I bought it on 20 now is 30, really? The package was a generic china box so it says a lot about the quality.
