Instructions were great, most companies don’t supply them. Not my fist rodeo on doing timing belts.

Great quality belt and tensioners seem like they will last only time will tell so far so good

As other reviewers have said this is not really the heavy duty make of real Hyundai stuff. These items from a Hyundai dealer are ridiculously pricef compared to this, however. The main problem in this area is knowing if you got authentic goods. Had a Gates timing belt break and be completely cracked and worn out after 50K. A real Gates should go closer to 150K. Pretty sure it was fake. Had a mechanic friends get a fake one from popular auto parts store, stretched and ruined engine within 100 miles. That's the reason I went with Aisin but don't know a way to authenticate, packaging looks genuine. Will examine often and change early.Update: I had to replace head gasket about 21K miles after I put timing belt on so had opportunity to closely examine belt. Both to my eyes and 2 mechanics the belt looks absolutely brand new.

This is the second time I have used Aisin kits. I can't remember where the belt is made but, it's not China. All the other parts are made in South Korea. The belt is seperated from the other parts and everything is very well packaged to prevent damage in transit. Also, the installation instructions are clear and easy to follow.

Buyer beware, I was led to believe that I was receiving all Aisin components in this “Kit” the Shipping box said Aisin, as did the water pump box. Belt looked decent and thick and labeled Mitsuboshi. As you can see from the smaller packaging; the idler pulley and tensioner & idler bearings are PHC (Valeo)After spending countless hours installing and triple checking my work, the Tensioner & Idler Bearing had to be removed 5x and reinstalled as it would not maintain axis. A concentric style tensioner and idler bearing requires precise adjustments to spin in axis, and no matter what I tried, including my neighbor who is a trained mechanic, the bearing would not maintain center axis under tension, as per included instruction (Kia repair manual for reference)Every time I installed the tensioner bearing, I manually turned the engine by hand, only to watch the bearing slide out of center.I can only hope that the PHC idler pulley and Aisin water pump last as long as the OEM parts that I’m replacing...

Ordered another kit and the water pump face was not true "made in China" The Aisin kit worked just fine

This kit was carefully installed and the car ran fine for about 27,000 miles (15 months - long commute). Suddenly the tensioner pulley froze up causing the belt to jump a few teeth, and of course the car stalled and wouldn't restart. Aisin is supposed to be a premium brand. Supplying such a low quality bearing is inexcusable. Others have left similar feedback. Do yourself a favor and don't buy this kit!

Parts were as indicated and good quality. Used for 2011 Kia Soul timing belt change.
