SalomonWomen’s XA PRO 3D Gore-Tex Waterproof Trail Running Shoes

I was a little skeptical if these would fit based on some of the reviews I’ve read, but glad I ordered them. The color is close to the photos, and the fit was better than expected. They have a little arch support which was a bonus. Salomon’s in general are a good quality shoe and these were no exception. I ordered my normal size 8, and have an average foot width. There was plenty of room.

I thought I was ordering a women's shoe using my shoe size (women's). Salomon has Brand -specific unisex sizing, which is closer to US mens sizing.This is a well made shoe, with great traction and quality that would be great hiking up a mountain. Color is as expected and a nice looking high quality shoe. It is just way too big for me, because it is a men's sized shoe.Check the Salomon website to convert to EU sizing before you order and compare to the EU sizing on whatever shoe you already own that fits well.

I’ve been wearing this brand for 10 yrs but this is my first gortex boot. I ordered 1/2 size up based on reviews and the shoes fits great. I have wide feet. The boot feels “stiff” but very supportive.

These are the most uncomfortable Salomon I ever wore. Unfortunately, I missed the allowable return date and just had the chance to wear them for a two mile walk. The arch is in the wrong place, the tongue is oddly sewn and there is a gap of material that cuts into your foot. Sadly these have ruined my allegiance to the brand and now I’m not sure what to do with these very expensive shoes that I cannot wear. All I can imagine is that these must be counterfeit, I can’t imagine Salomon would sell this poor quality. Very Disappointed!

Shoe is fabulous, needed a larger size, purchased for time sensitivity and returned smaller pair. Refund status set to refund to credit card that purchased, didn't happen, refunded to amazon credit. NOT HAPPY. It clearly states to refund to credit card and claims this, then when i click on details to find out what happened to the money it says amazon credit. I need the money elsewhere, and conducted my clicks appropriately. 6 month update.....not waterproof anymore after summer dew and spring dampness. Small separation of toe area to sole- disappointed in this per the $180 they cost I'd hope for at least 200miles in them. They're still light mileage. Not the quality they used to be.

Honestly the best shoe out there. I don’t hike but I do train dogs in grass-woods-hilly anreas… all different types of terrain! Best shoes. Also great around our small farm. I hate farm boots. You won’t regret your purchase.
