These are the best socks for wear and comfort. Tried two other brands and they ended up with holes after one or two washes. The golden toe holds up for several years. Will stick with this brand. Great packing and shipping too. No problems!

this is the first time that I have tried these brand of socks. this is the best sock for the money you will find. soft and comfortable right out of the bag. just the right snugness at top of sock. have tried 6 different brands and styles but these are the best. think of the elasticity of energyzone socks made by shopko and the softness of burlington socks but without being as thick as the burlington socks, which were also way too warm for my taste. as far as how long they will last if they last at least 1 year that will be great. even if they only last 6-8 months, for this level of comfort i definitely will be buying more of these in the future. do your feet a favor and use these socks, they will love you for it. of the 6 others i tried 5 were way to tight, those being carhartt, underarmour, railroad to name a few. they also were either too thin or too thick or way too hot for all year wear.

These are great socks for all weather. They are thick but, not hot in the heat! Comfortable! Not too tight on the leg but stay up! Great year-round sock!

I've tried several brands for my husband.. Redwing, Carhartt, Fruit of the Loom etc.. and keep coming back to this brand. These are the most comfortable and durable. He's in work boots all day and they don't suffocate his feet or ankles. They've lasted the longest as well.

I’ve been wearing these for years. Found athletic socks seem to handle perspiration better than dress or thinner casual socks. The black ones of course work with business casual and probably would not be noticed in most scenarios with full business attire. Gold Toe makes several varieties of black Gold Toe socks, so my rule of thumb is to ensure they are the athletic ones to be sure they are thick enough. I’m a size 9 pr 10 shoe size depending on brand and the socks fit fine.

I'm not saying that these socks will change your life, but if you work for a living and are tired of crappy socks falling apart and getting holes worn in them, these are for you. As with anything in life, some things are just worth the extra couple of bucks. I wear tall work boots, and these bad boys make a huge difference in comfort. They don't "bunch up" at your toes, and you won't be pulling them up either. Super satisfied with these. My only complaint is that when they're new, they do leave some "fuzzies" on your feet at the end of the day. Wash and dry them inside out once and problem solved. Lieutenant Dan was right. It was always about the socks.

I wear these socks every day! They've lasted 4 years! Can't beat that!
