DiCAPac WP-i10 Waterproof Case for iPhone 4 / 3G / 3GS Brown

I received this product 2 weeks ago, but recently i could use it in a cold and warm water pools, it works very fine in cold water poolbut in hot water pool its hard to take the pictures because the iPhone doesnt "activate" the shooter because the temperature of the water i dont know why? tks

Fits my iphone 5 well, even with a case on (Magpul). It seems that there is still a little room is you have a slightly larger case. The fit is nice and sleek. On the other hand this makes it a little tricky to get on sometimes especially when it's hot and the clear plastic gets soft. I've been able to get pretty good photos with it on too. One drawback is that while on a call, the person on the other end will have a hard time hearing you clearly. Another is that in bright sunlight I had a hard time seeing the screen due to glare. I'm not sure if my matte anti glare screen protector contributed to that or not. I've taken it into the ocean and pool with no leaks, but I'd be careful. I imagine dropping it on a hard rough surface could puncture it and compromise it's integrity.

At some point during a snorkel outing one of the velcro closures came loose and enough water got in to ruin my iphone. Im not saying the product is bad or does not work. I may have accidently caught the velcro on something but im sorry i even took the chance. It only takes one problem to set you back hundreds of dollars. Invest in a cheap disposable underwater camera and leave your iphone on dry land where it belongs.

This was a surprise to find it so easy to use and no leaking! I tested it first of course, and then used it very often in the ocean while snorkeling. The plastic still allowed for my lens to clearly take pictures and record video. It is sometimes difficult to get the camera button on the iPhone to "click" underwater, so I would have to hold it certain ways for still shots. I generally shot short videos, and started the video recording above the water where I could see it begin. Overall, for the cost, this is well worth it.

I am not blown away with this product. It is OK and is not much money, but a little difficult to use.

I used this recently when I went tubing and was excited with the quality and durability of this product! It absolutely held up and I was happy to be able to FINALLY bring my iPhone 4 with me for a water activity. I had gone several times previously and was not happy to have to purchase a waterproof camera and then pay for developing the prints.There is no obstruction of the camera in the design, and pictures came out crystal clear, not blurry at all. I was able to navigate the phone and touch everything with immediate response. My phone remained bone dry throughout my river fun!The only constructive feedback I would give is that it's not really ideal to use the phone while it is in the pac. I could hear just fine, but I was told that I could hardly be heard. But, there could be a number of factors that could have contributed to this instance. So, I say this feedback cautiously and will have to test this out further to see if the case was the issue or something else (like the location, the cell signal strength, etc.).

Case is to bulky to fit into carrying case. Must remove phone from case to recharge, which is a pain. I am not using it.... Waterproof case for sale.

I put my iPhone 4 in this for an 8 hour canoe trip and it was fine. Before I used it, I tested the case by putting a folded paper towel in it and leaving it submerged in a bowl of water for about 3 hours. (They also recommend you test it before use.) After seeing the paper towel was still dry, I decided my fears of bringing a $300 iPhone to the river could be alleviated (but I was still nervous). One thing to call out: It comes with a tiny pack of desiccants, and I usually throw that away, but other reviewers advised to keep them. As a safety precaution, I did. Once your iPhone is in the case, there is enough room to drop it in and still access the power button. And yes, the touch screen still worked through the case. I used a gps tracking app to keep record of our route, but since I only started with an 80% charge, I couldn't get the whole trip. But, the case did its job just fine. I would recommend this case.

Went to Turkey for snorkelling and the product worked perfectly. Took very clear photos and would advise to anyone considering.
