Minnetonka Women's Classic Fringe Boot

OK, so these mocs are kind of tricky at first. I have worn this brand of mocs for years so I know how they fit. Wearing Birkenstocks for 30 years, then being barefoot all throughout covid, my feet changed. They didn't necessarily get bigger or wider, they got stronger if that makes any since. I usually wear a 39 or 8.5 in women's and that is what I ordered in this moc. What I received was a 40, or women's 9. I was OK with that, and they fit ok, but I just didn't love them the way I wanted to. I also read most of the reviews on them being longer. So I started the return process completely bummed. They were the color I wanted, I just wasn't happy. Then, I thought, I have Birkenstock inserts that I know will fit in these. So I tried that. And they fit perfectly now!! Yay!! They will stretch over time and the laces are stiff. I tied small knots where the opening is where you would lace them since the leather is so long. I have a pair of handmade ones I had to redo that with since my mom accidentally sucked them up vacuuming one day. They are hard to relace but it's not impossible, just inconvenient. I don't know if this will help anyone, but this is my experience with them. I'm happy I went with my intuition to wait and work with them before I sent them back. I absolutely love moccasins and these are going to make me happy for a while to come. 💚💚

I bought my 1st pair of soft bottom Mocassins more than 14 years ago when the City I live in held Pow Wows. They are still in great shape. I now have a replacement pair & 2 new colors/shades. These are super comfy...I love to wear them in the house on cooler days. It's a shame that the soft soles don't work outdoors...Still love them

I will edit my review if there are any changes, as I just received these today.. they are very comfortable, light weight, and appear to be well made. I did read some other reviews that mentioned the seems coming undone, if that happens then I will redo them myself with fishing string, as that is very durable for sewing. I’ve taken multiple photos to show the different angles and the flexibility of the Mocs. They are extremely flexible and I think they would be perfect for grounding/earthing, as they are completely cow hide, except for the inside bottom, which can be removed if you needed to. I highly recommend that you read all of the description and maintenance, and use the products that are mentioned to keep them protected from the elements. These are fine for wearing indoors and outdoors, as long as you seal them with the correct products they mention. I wear a size 7 1/2 in regular shoes, but after reading the other reviews I decided to get a size 7 in these, as they are looser than a regular shoe, and they do stretch over time. So you want them to fit like a glove; very snug at first until you break them in. I will be returning these for a size 6, I believe. had I known they were going to be as loose as they are, that is probably what I should have purchased to begin with. As a Native American myself, who has “the walk” (almost a bounce to my walk, somewhat on my toes), I feel that is very important to have the correct size, since the area around the opening is much looser than they should be. Definitely measure both feet, and purchase the length of your smaller foot. Normally with regular shoes, you would get the size of the bigger foot; but with the way these are made, that is definitely not the case. You may feel some slight rubbing on your toes at first, but as stated, they will loosen up as you break them in; so wear them indoors and outdoors at first, to get a lot of use out off them and they will break in faster. I ordered these by mistake. I thought these would have the hard outer rubber sole, but these don't. No big deal. I was anxious to feel a shoe with out a sole! I got them today and the cushion inside is soft and squishy and feeling nice. As others have said, I ordered a half size smaller than I usually am. I'm an 8.5, but got an 8. My other Minnetonka's are an 8 too. I noticed right away that these ARE (like everyone was saying) NARROW! I don't have wide feet problems. These are unusually, and kind of uncomfortably, narrow across the ball of the foot-- really, where your foot would be at its widest, that's where it's uncomfortably narrow on me. It's not too short or too small as far as length for my foot. They're great for size, just that narrowness that I hope stretches out with wear. My other soled Minnetonka's did not have this narrow problem. I'm patient though, so I won't return them. I'll break them in. I know they'll accommodate my foot perfectly with more wear.The thickness and quality of the leather (in black) is exceptional. My feet feel warm and protected from the elements :)I'm a long time Minnetonka moc's fan. These sole-less shoes are new to me, and I'm excited to see how they wear on the bottom, completely unique to my foot and step :)

Absolutely love the color and think they’ll be perfect for my hippie outfit!! These are very narrow although I expect them to stretch. They are long in the toe for a size 9, but glad I sized down a whole size otherwise they would’ve been ridiculously long. I think when they get to my foot shape they’ll be ok.

These are great! They are made very well. The only caution I will give is DON'T UPSIZE. They are plenty wide for a wide foot and unlike other brands, these do not need uprising. Mine are too big because I wasn't sure about fit. Lol. Love them anyway.

The inside of these simple shoes are too simple and raryer irritating. The internal seams are not covered and the simple pad just feels unfinished and uncomfortable on barefeet. I really wanted to love these for daily wear around the house but I just couldn't stand the feeling. I've had other Minnetonka moccasins of a different style and they were much more comfortable and finished than these. The leather is definitely good quality, but the feeling of quality craftsmanship on bare feet is just not there.

Product was perfect. Exactly as described. Exactly as pictured. TRUE TO FIT. They will stretch a bit too over time so order them to fit perfectly or snug. Top quality too. Super impressed, so much so I think I should start an Amazon store too....🤣 Ya right, just kidding....Enjoy.
