An Excellent Toy!
My sons cannot get enough fun from this set. They are obsessed with it. It has been a great birthday present and I will definitely be looking into expanding the set with more pieces. Excellent toy for kids that love to explore and learn. Such a great learning toy while having a great time.

The most marble run for the money so far
This is compatible/same run as the more expensive National Geographic one. I made the mistake of buying 2 of those first and still never having enough parts to do great builds. On this set there was one piece broke but it doesn’t effect the performance, the lighted marbles are very cool but as some people already mentioned they need to be smaller and heavier to not get stuck. My 4 year old is not offended by it and absolutely loves them so it’s not a deal breaker. It needs to have a couple more sturdy base pieces and would be nice to have some longer support pieces so it doesn’t fall as easy. The marbles get stuck a little in some of the spots sometimes, needs minor tweaking. Overall, we bought it for $39 and may just buy another one because there are many cool pieces and love the xl free style builds. Bought the largest one.

Instability of
Overall a fun toy. Could be more stable especially for younger players and can easily collapse under use. Maybe some "non-marble" pieces could be supplied to build a more robust creation. Basically a player has to be very careful when adjusting and building - not something most 4 -5 year olds can do. And the marbles are not uniform in size and certainly are not round, causing "log jams" in some components. The lighted marbles seem to be too large for the track and don't flow well.

Fun gift!
What a fun toy to have! So many ways to build the tracks and play! My boys use this daily and everything is still in one piece- some pieces I could see breaking and you weren’t careful when pulling them apart but a great gift to give to a kiddo! It was nice to have different marbles to try out as well!

Glad I Chose This One
I read tons and tons of reviews for different marble runs before settling on this one. I agonized over the reviews that appeared on almost every different marble run, saying the pieces don't hold together and the structures fall apart. I ended up buying this one, despite a few negative reviews, and it works great! The pieces hold together very nicely, and my 7-year-old and almost-4-year-old love playing with it. When we first got it, they spent no less than 6 hours that day playing with it, and at least 4 hours a day for the next few days. It slowly petered out over a week or 2, and they gradually lost interest, but will still get it out every few weeks and play with it for an hour or so. Not bad for $40. I love that it comes with a handy, drawstring bag so we can pack it all away, all together, and the pieces don't get lost. It's also great that it came with so many marbles, because somehow those DO disappear, despite our best efforts. For the reviews saying structures fall over; this is not really a fault of the toy, in my experience. You do have to build with a little intelligence, setting the towers up in a triangular or square pattern (or any kind of staggered pattern, really) for stability, not all in a straight row, which would be easily knocked over. My kids learned this very quickly. My 7-year-old very quickly learned to build complex, fully functional structures. My almost-4-year-old likes to run the marbles down structures that someone else builds, or just play with the pieces, connecting and disconnecting them, sorting the colors, collecting and hoarding marbles, etc. He doesn't quite "get" the concept of making a functioning marble run on his own yet, but that is fine; both kids enjoy the toy a lot. Only 2 pieces in the whole set do not quite work properly; the two that look like curving roller-coaster tracks; they are just slightly warped, and the balls would stop running on them, so we stopped using them. All the rest work perfectly, and we are very happy with it.

Love it BUT LED marbles get stuck
My 3.5 year old used every piece yesterday to make a super tower and we love it. However, my wife and I specifically bought this brand because of the light up marbles. They light up, BUT they go down the slides and most of the time get stuck. We push them through and then they get stuck again. The regular marbles work just fine. I wish the light up ones were a little bit smaller to easily resolve the constant issues. In terms of age, I put the towers together and he plays with it. I’m sure when he is the recommended appropriate age, the game will be suitable
