I had done some online research that suggested that Bluetooth on a Mac does not handle multiple connections very well. My mouse worked fine but when I added Bluetooth headphones or a Bluetooth keyboard I would have drop outs in transferring data from one or the other. I purchased the device indicated and things now seem to work much better. You need to go to the vendor web site and add the driver for the device and make some setup changes to make this the primary Bluetooth device. The instructions are reasonably clear. Good luck! **Q: Hi, has anybody tested this on a mac running running macos big sur version 11.0.1** A: Only macs from 2012 or 2011 don’t have Bluetooth 4, and they are too old to run Catalina or Big Sur. My 2012 and 2010 machines can’t run Big Sur. My 2014 machine has bt 4 built in. **Q: Seems to be the only dongle on the planet that is compatible with mac. Is it really? I'm skeptical.** A: I received mine this week for my Mac Pro 4.1 (High Sierra). Once I unplugged the Bluetooth board from my motherboard I was able to use this to pair with my Bluetooth 4 keyboard.
