This cushion is a godsend for people who wear a full face cpap mask. There is nothing on the market that accommodates the CPAP mask forehead support. As soon as I received the product, I tried it out with my mask on. A huge relief. It provides support and leaves enough clearance for my mask. I can’t wait to use it tonight. No chocking as stated in other reviews. I think they have their chin too far forward. Your chin needs to rest in the crook. I do see a need to probably wear a dental mouth piece to ease tension on the teeth but I wear one all ready. I ordered the large cushion which is good for someone who is 5’6”.

I was excited to get this and was dismayed with how it worked (or did not work), the biggest problem is that the foam is way too dense (the foam was way too rigid) and here is what happens because of that:It was impossible to get comfortable with this, if you move a bit further back the foam will choke you (did I mention that the foam is too dense?)If you move the other direction the foam will hurt the sides of your head (did I mention the foam is too dense?).I cannot imagine how some people gave this a 3, 4 or 5 star....they must just be very nice people...I just want to warn everyone who is considering to buy this, not to do soI really wanted this to work since I sleep on my stomach with head straight down. Based upon this item and the lack of choices that are available on the internet, one can only hope that someone will invent something comfortable and that will work. some day in the near future.

I was super excited about receiving this item as I have serious neck and back issues, have had spinal surgery and am actively trying to avoid another one. I purchased this and tried it last night. I didn't try it long as I started very quickly to experience pain across my mid back I can only assume from the incline. While my neck felt comfortable-ish and my arms weren't getting squished the mid back pain was bad enough there was no avoiding going back to my usual pillow. I lasted less than 5 minutes with this face down pillow. the face hole is kind of narrow as well so it trapped the "hot air" from breathing and just kind of left me disappointed. Like I said though my neck, shoulders and arms appreciated what the pillow was going for so maybe for someone else this would be acceptable, but just not for me. I'll attempt to get my $ back and see how it goes!

This product is a Godsend. I just had a vitrectomy and had to sleep with my face down without eyes contact. Before I got it, I was struggling to get comfortable. The backache, the difficulty in breathing were quite a challenge every night. This is fantastic. I have a waterbed and my arms were crushed sleeping on my stomach before I got this pillow. It gently raises your body and the indent of the pillow allows your eyes to not touch the bed and allows you to breathe and lets your arms rest comfortably. Wonderful! I highly recommend this as a face down solution!!

The media could not be loaded. I have a relatively normal head for a 5’3” female. lol I bought the smaller 14” size. I think standard pillows are around 24-27” W.Works best if you use the pillow cover it comes with. Its pretty versatile. Hoping for extra firm but it seems medium firm. If you’re using for post op, for the price I think it’s a good buy.

The good - very firm foam. For women the pillow has a boob grove.The bad - Very uncomfortable. The pillow has very harsh edges. The face support is painful. I can feel the pillow on my face as a solid line while the corners dig into my head. Even the boob grove is uncomfortable as the edges of it are very uncomfortable on my chest. Even turning the pillow over does not help as the face part is smaller and even worse than the regular side.I will be keeping it because as a wedge it works when sleeping on my back.

My sister recently had a detached retina surgery and she had to remain face down for 72 hours after the surgery. She needed something to rest her neck and shoulders on but yet still have room to breathe and still be face down. I saw this on Amazon and it worked out perfectly! We searched all over our city for something to help in her recovery but could not find anything and all along, it was on Amazon!The pillow is soft but firm and has a slipcover over it for cleanliness. It completely supports your shoulders and neck so you can relax and sleep while being face down. Couldn't have asked for a better pillow and the price was very reasonable.Thanks Amazon!
