It does in fact fit a 2018 Ram 1500. I crossed referenced the part number with rock auto which wanted more money.

Installed on my 2015 ram 2500 Cummins Bought this as replacement filter. Excellent fit. Don’t forget factory doesn’t come with. Have to purchase a filter install kit. Cheaper then replacing components once dirty and clogged.
