This blade does exactly what I needed it to do. Lift and cut, as I bag my lawn clippings. Perfect OEM fit.

These blades are identical to the blades that came with my Sears 42 inch mower. They are multi purpose blades for mulching, bagging, or side discharge. They are the only ones I could find that met those uses. They come sharpened and ready to go. I just want to mention that they are not sharpened to a knife edge. If they are too sharp the edge tends to roll and become dull.

Have mown twice with my Craftsman T2200 Riding Lawn mower since these blades were installed, and they appear to cut well. The blades that came on my mower ~ which these blades replace ~ were sharp as they were removed. These blades ~ as another reviewer noted ~ did not appear sharp. I asked the gentleman who installed them if they needed to be sharpened, and he said they'd be fine, and they do appear to be. Appreciated the great price, and the genuine Craftsman parts. They were heavy and seemed well made. They came well packaged in a very sturdy narrow oblong cardboard box, wrapped inside together in several sheets of brown heavyweight paper. They wrap the 42” lawnmower blades in thick brown paper so they don’t bang around in the box by the time they deliver them. Blades look brand new. Thanks

The blade style is a little different than the original. These have a flare up about 3-4 inches from the outer edge, whereas the one currently installed are pretty much straight.They do come pretty dull so a quick hit with the angle grinder seems to be the right choice prior to install.Otherwise, they work great!

Perfect fit for my Craftsman riding mower

I have older lawn equipment. Both mowers have Brigs motors with the star blades. Could not find one at the major hardware stores. The blades they had were much higher than the ones I purchased a year or two ago.Then I turned to my old friend, Amazon found just what I needed and at a good price. First class blades!

This blade was the correct size for my lawn mower. I am cutting my grass again, and boy did it need it!
