Each color builds the concepts of: elapsed time, money, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry, measurement, and problem solving skills. As each color is finished, the following section re-teaches each concept, but introduces a new level of comprehension. It builds from simple to complex beautifully. I have used this book both in order (teaching every concept in the color) and by subject (moving through the colors while completing only the money pages, etc.). There is a subject directory with page numbers to assist in the latter method. I have already looked into buying other products in the same series! I love the life skills aspects- learning how to write checks, making changing, looking at a menu and putting together an order.
