At close look- lines from the mold it came out of, plastic/resin look.. from a distance- sooo cute :).. If you want 'good look close up' you will have to look elsewhere and pay the price. For what it cost I am greatly surprised at how it looks- excellent buy. Purchased to give as a gift so I did open it first, the receiver came by while I was checking it out and loves it.. was told to wrap it up quickly before I changed my mind to keep for myself.

Pleased with this purchase! I wrote a message on the black board with liquid chalk, and added a restaurant gift card.

My husband knocked over my other one that I had for years- I replaced it with this guy and super happy.

I love this adorable little guy. I had a hard time writing with chalk on it but I used a chalk marker on it and it works perfectly. Wipes off easily to change it up. Perfect addition. I'll have to buy some more to grow my collection. Great quality for the money.
