Worth the price. I was having a dead battery on my Scooter and this helped to jump start it from my Car battery. Comes with a cover to keep it safe after use.

I had bought this cable anticipating a day when I would get stuck. I bought this. The day did come actually. I left my Honda car's cabin lights on and next day the battery was discharged. I rushed to charge it through this recently bought cable and patted my back for the 'wise' decision. I tried using my Swift car battery to connect through this cable. However, the battery won't charge and car won't start. After struggling multiple times, I decided to seek help. Got a mechanic over who got his own cable at least twice as thick as the one from Amazon. He first tried to start the car through Amazon cable, and as expected, it didn't work. Then finally he connected his own. It took that cable less than 3 sec to jump start my car. Literally, it started off in an instant. The cable from Amazon was no good. He looked at me with wry smile and said, nobody should buy this stuff online, most of them end up in the trash can. Looks like mine too, will find a place in the trashcan. Unfortunately, it happened when the return was off limits. There goes my hard-earned money on a substandard product !! + Waste of time, energy and Money to get it fixed by a mechanic. .. In summary - 3 words for you. "Don't buy it" please.

- The contact point of the clips are very bad...they have least area of contact with the battery terminals. They are sharp hence contact area is very very less. - Hence the cable cannot conduct enough current to crank the engine of even an Alto K10. - They should reduce the length of the wire and increase the contact point of aligator clips. - The cable is very soft and flexible. The cable size and thickness seems to be same as mentioned in description but I cannot verify them. - How ever my car didn't start from a fully charged battery. But the car started after replacing the old battery with new battery directly. That means this cable failed to conduct enough current. - This will be useful only if your battery is little down and can be charged from nearby car be running it to 15 to 30 minutes. - Not fit for immediate start.

The quality of alligator clamps is excellent heavy duty material, the wires thickness is very good for battery boost operation. There is nice cloth carry bag included. I ordered12 ft version length. There is safety and battery use instruction manual included in it. Came in good quality packing and overnight delivery.

awesome jumpers, quality cables, quality carry bag the cables are nice and sturdy so they dont get all tangled up clips are real strong and open nice and wide to even go over the battery clamps highly recommend this product based on the price and quality i've used them a whole bunch of times with no issues

I bought the 10 gauge 12 ft version and have used it about 10 times so far, a couple of times for my compact sedan and the rest a smattering of sedans, SUVs and pickup trucks. Didn't encounter any issues on any of those occasions - good length, cable didn't melt and the clamps work great still. Even the included carry bag still looks like new. I genuinely would recommend keeping one of these in your trunk.

Adequate for light vehicle use only, non insulated clamps so beware, otherwise ok for what it is
