It just came in the mail, and I slipped it on right away. My only issue is that the butterflies have a black ink-like stain in the middle of the wings, and parts of the "roots" have those bits of stains too. I don't know if it was just mine or an intentional part of the design (that wasn't portrayed in the picture), but I don't care too much. I think it adds some colour to the shiny steel. Very sturdy, a bit heavy, and so much prettier in person. In the picture you're seeing the ring from kind of a weird angle, it's hard to tell that the bottom butterfly actually sticks out and up a bit, which gives the ring a lot of dimension and looks super cute.
