Works as expected
Plug was used to stop hot air draft in summer seems to have worked well.

the trighter the better
fit perfectly after forcing it into the 6 inch space. Opened up and held it's place with hand tightening.outstanding solution, saving a bypass valve replacement.

Great for infrequent use,
This product is good for the price - it definitely does the job. The only problem I've had with it is that the metal "ears" on the tighteners are made of pot metal. It takes more force than your fingers can provide to tighten the plugs, so pliers or some other aid are required and after several uses one of the tabs broke off. I expect the others to break as well, since the pot metal is weak. I can still use the plugs with pliers. It's too bad, as all other aspects of the plugs are fine.

Great product...gets the job done!
Needed a plug to seal the chimney smoke pipe hole after removing the furnace...this fit the bill! Would recommend!

Hard to find size...
It's hard to find a 6" test plug, for some reason. This worked nicely to seal a floor drain pipe in a hundred year old basement. Seems well made, expanded without issue. Would recommend.

Tightens well
Good for plugging access ports that might get wet from the outside. It keeps the rain out. Works in standing water.
