Almay Shadow Softies, Petal

I am so happy I can still get Pastel Shades in Eyeshadow. Not everyone can wear dark colours.

Its light unless you put a couple coats on. I was surprised how small it was and when I opened it, the eye shadow 'cake' fell right out. Luckily it landed on a towel and not the floor or it would have broke and been useless. I chose Almay because its hypoallergenic, it does seem to be lighter on skin than what it looks like in the package.

I don't think this is an actual Almay product. I bought this eyeshadow at my local drugstore and loved it, the color, the consistency, etc... The one I received from Amazon, yeah, the color is the same, but I have to put on 3 or 4 coats to get it to show up in the slightest. I even tried wetting it, and it's still very transparent. I think this is a knockoff product, and I will not purchase again.

It’s not as dark as it looks in the container which is what a lot of other reviewers say about all the colors. I am finding out that a lot of hypoallergenic makeup has fewer unnatural products in it and that includes coloring. It’s not as dark as others (Maybelline) but I like it. It’s great for those days that I want something a little more subtle. It goes on smooth and doesn’t seem to crease. Over all, it’s a great product for being hypoallergenic.

I wish I had read other reviews before buying this from this company. There is something obviously wrong with it. It do ones not look like others of the same brand. This is shriveled up like it has been in a garage for to 50 years. Don't buy from this company.

I had purchased this eyeshadow in Hot Fudge at a store and loved it but when I went to go buy it again I could no longer find it. This is a lightly textured powdered light brown matte eyeshadow and it looks very neutral on, not a heavy shadow or color. I like it because it gives me just enough color to say I'm wearing shadow but not look made up. If you like wearing a heavy textured dark eyeshadow this is not for you.

I didn’t know this was a cream eye shadow, and I also feel like there is no color at all when I put it on so it’s kind of useless. I like Almay because it’s hypoallergenic and this shadow did not cause my eyelids to swell or get a rash like other shadows do so it had that in the positive column.

I love Almay make up! this was well packaged, and arrived promptly. The colours are lovely, and long lasting. I have very sensitive skin, and had no problems using this product.
