At 55 years old, I have had stomach issues on and off for at least 30 years. Now in menopause, it seems that my digestive issues have ramped way up. Bloating, gas, intermittent nausea, I had it all. I thought I probably needed probiotics &/or prebiotics, but those did very little to help my stomach problems. After doing a little bit of research online, I came across these Now Super Enzymes. They were cheap enough, so I bought them. I have to say that they work very, very well. After about a week, the gas and bloating are all but gone, along with the stomach pain I've sadly grown used to.I'm starting to feel like I have more energy at the gym, and a huge plus is that I think I have lost a few extra pounds on these enzymes as well!The only downside on this product are the ingredients. Please note that, when it says ox bile, read it as actual bovine bile. For some reason, I was thinking that it was a name of some odd natural herb I had never heard of. But, after looking up info on the ingredients, I found that yes, indeed, ox bile really is ox bile. If that sounds a little weird to you, you might want to reconsider. Also, I'm unsure if the gelatin listed is a vegetable or animal derived gelatin. Chances are it's animal based.I plan to finish of this bottle of pills and see where it takes me, but I've also purchased the pure plant version of these enzymes from Now. I plan to start those afterwards. But, so far, I'm loving these things. I can't believe something this inexpensive could be the thing I've been looking for to help my digestion my whole life!

I discovered this product a year ago. After recovering from an illness, in which I wasn't able to eat for a long time, my stomach enzymes were mostly gone. At the time, I didn't know that was the problem; I just knew I couldn't eat anything without getting sick to my stomach. As a result, I could barely eat and felt weak all the time. I came across this product on the internet after reading about how a lack of enzymes can cause the problem I was having; the article said recovering anorexics have the same problem. Your stomach eats its own enzymes when you don't eat for a long period. Then when you can eat again, your body doesn't have the enzymes it needs to digest food.I tried this product because it had got the best reviews. One review I read said it was one of the few you could find containing ox bile, which helps you to digest fat. The first day I took it, it gave me a slight headache, but no more problems after that.Literally, by the next day I was a different person. I had been too weak to open a bottle or jar by myself. Overnight, I was able to. I'm thinking maybe I was weak from malnourishment before, because of not having the enzymes to properly absorb nutrients in food. After a few days, I noticed I no longer got sick to my stomach at all. I could even eat beans or ice cream without having any gas. The only slightly annoying thing is having to remember it every time you eat, but it's well worth it. Also, after I had been taking it for a few months, I guess my supply of enzymes got built back up or something, however that works, because then I could go for days not taking and still not get sick. At one point I ran out, and went a few months without it. It took 3 months for me to start getting gas or upset stomach to the point a normal person does, but of course, it never got as bad as after I had been sick. I just received my order yesterday and resumed taking them.These are good for anyone, not just someone who is sick or has stomach problems. I read people are doing good to absorb 50% of the nutrients in their food, and this increases that, so it makes you healthier. I think that is why I regained my strength overnight when I first tried it.Excellent product. Literally gave me my health back when I was sick.

I’ve been using it for a few days and I’m not totally sure if it’s making a difference yet. Might need more time. The ingredients look solid. No side effects so far but not seeing a big change in digestion either.

I've tried so many different enzyme supplements to deal with my protein sensitivity to milk (and other foods such as sugar and fat that sometimes irritate me). My food sensitivities are non-trivial and cause excruciating pain. Other enzymes sometimes work, sometimes don't, and most always never work strongly enough and I have to pop them like candy and they STILL don't work! But THIS one.. this is the one. It actually works without having to pop a thousand of them. Yea, they're bitter, but I just put them under my tongue and then when I drink to swallow them I do so quickly without them touching the top of my tongue. And anyways, to even care about the bitter taste, someone in my position does not care in the least. Do they work? Yeah. That's what matters. THANK YOU!!!!!!!! I will be buying these things for the rest of my life (unless the aliens give us the mythical 'med beds' I keep hearing about)

Love this brand. This supplement helps with digestion. Makes me regular.
