Tricky to hang
Does what it says. I bought this for the ceiling and north-facing wall in my living room to keep the damp patches at bay. It's a bit of a nightmare to put on the ceiling, did it on my own off a stepladder (I'm a professional decorator) and it just about killed me! It doesn't stick very well initially, which is tremendous if you hang it a bit squint but makes it helluva hard to attach a full length; hold an area with one hand and go to brush it down and the last area flops off. Definitely need a helper! Cross-lined it with 1,000 grade paper which worked fine. Cuts/slices ok but needs care; as it's so thick, it's easy to cut it a bit short in nooks and corners. That said, once it's up it's fine and the wall was no problem. There's absolutely no stretch, so on uneven old walls it tends to gap/overlap. No discernable heat difference but 7 months on, not a sign of damp patches!

Good quality and easy to apply
Why did you choose this product over others?: Good reviews on Amazon. Easy to apply and had plenty of coverage. At present no mould but will no more in Winter but am confident it has solved my mould problem

So far so good
I used this on outside walls that had a slightly damp problem (bay window side of a Victorian dining room) and so far so good. I prepped the wall properly first by sanding it down, removed loose flaking plaster by hand, then painted problem areas with a coat of damp stop paint (I did this in winter so I could see where I really have moisture problems). This was then put up with the adhesive paste, which is expensive for the size but don't want it coming down again too soon. The paste is very thick, and I have porous walls so it started absorbing the paste quickly which meant working a bit faster. The lining went up well, I could move it on the wall but not much, my advise is to use a plastic wallpaper smoother rather than a brush as you need the pressure. Once it was finished it looked a bit bumpy in places but it cut and joined well, especially around corners and around the radiator. I wallpapered over it with a heavy embossed paper and the finish is very smooth. I used a premix thick wallpaper paste just to be sure it stuck and so far so good.

Tricky stuff
Honestly, this is tricky stuff to use... I needed it to insulate the ceiling of a motorhome, and even using the correct glue, it's not easy getting paper to stick to it.... Also, the width makes it pretty hard to handle. Pleased with the ultimate job...I can't know if it has actually improved the insulation, mind. TBH, if I was doing the job again, I probably wouldn't bother!
