Real Flame G8600E Silverton Electric Fireplace, Black

I ordered this some time ago, and enjoy it all the time. It is a great looking piece and am glad I purchased it. The flame is so soothing to look at, and when you need a little extra warmth, turn on the heater and you are nice and toasty.

The molding around the Flame insert should be 1 piece to give it a more realistic appearance. The seams make it look fake. A couple of the pre-drilled holes did not line up perfectly either. Had to do some minor modifications. All in all, it's an OK product. Heat works great but the appearance was not to our liking.

This fireplace is not worth the money that I paid for it. Looks like tile around the fireplace it is not it is fake yellow wood color and it is so ugly. Also the insert fireplace does not fit properly and there is a 1 inch gap at the top so you can see right through it to the wall. Also the fireplace does not fit into the hole snuggly it doesn't look like the picture at all. So ugly... We ended up buying granite and putting granite around the fireplace. Looks nicer but when you pay that much for something you would think it would be alittle nicer. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!

It went well with the decor in my son and daughter-in-law's living room. It was very complimentary to the color of their walls and the style and color of their living room furniture. It also becomes the focal point of the wall where they placed the fireplace, and certainly the ambience of the flames and the actual warmth produced by the unit make this fireplace attractive, as well. The biggest negative was that the blower motor went bad about a week after set-up. Fortunately, it was under warranty, but having to pull the insert, making a call to customer service, waiting for a new assembly, calling UPS to pick up the defective insert, etc., didn't make us very happy. Customer service was very good about handling the issue, but you tend to think "Uh-oh!' when a $500 purchase has problems after the first week.

This is well made and easy to put together!! Works beautifully and can give off heat in degrees as set by you..A perfect addition to my new apartment! Love it!!

Great looking fireplace! Flames look as real as any electric insert I've ever seen. Kids love it. Will be nice at Christmas time. :)

Easy to install, looks great

The wood work around the firebox is a natural pine so the picture is a little misleading. All in all, it is a nice product and I would recommend it.
