Great introduction to the concept
Very good examples of this mathematical concept in nature. Recommend for young children who enjoy nature.

Fun introduction to Fibonacci!
Great, fun introduction to the Fibonacci Code! It makes me and my kids want to search out and learn more about it! We've given this (and other books) as gifts to our teachers. This isn't always a topic that's taught, but it's really facinating and fun to find a way to introduce it to younger kids.

Secular
It’s explains the math simply enough for a grade school child to understand. But I fails to mention the creator of nature which is God. How do people think nature came up with all these little pieces falling into place?

If you like Fibonacci, you'll love it
Having been fascinated by numbers all my life and absolutely enchanted with Fibonacci, this book, though aimed at a younger reader, is fascinating and most enjoyable. It is an excellent introduction for a young mathematician that can also be enjoyed as a parent/child reader. It also should be in every elementary school library. Highly recommended.

Great graphics..,
Great graphics yet I think the written part might be too complex for children. But why limit a child. He or she might get the concept!!!

Patterns everywhere!
LOVE the authors use of illustrations to help make a very complex pattern come to life in a very concrete and meaningful way! Kudos!

This is a great book.
I bought this book for my niece's 12th birthday and she loved it. Going to share with her younger brothers and show her school friends. The explanation of the Fibonacci sequence is appropriate for kids of this age (assuming they like growing their minds. The illustrations are excellent. (Ignore the stupid negative comments.) Five Stars!

Nice drawings, could have covered more
The title "Nature's secret code revealed" got me excited. The rave reviews seemed to justify my excitement. I thought this would be the book to show my child the myriad ways in which Fibonacci numbers crop up in the most unexpected of places in nature.I have to say that my expectations were satisfied only partially. The authors have focussed on one aspect of Fibonacci numbers and showed how that manifests in nature. Many others could have been covered. The focus on just one feature takes away the fun to a large extent. The book is well intentioned and the drawings are beautiful. It is just that so much more could have been done. In contrast, "Blockhead" does a better job. There, the drawings have Fibonacci features hidden in them which an interested parent can show to his child.

What an interesting book,
I absolutely love this book for my autistic 6yr old grandson. Although I might have found I am much like him.I love patterns and the nature of how everything is so perfect.
