Lion King Ultra-HD [Blu-ray 4K] [2018] [Region Free]

Awesome quality, my favourite Disney film, and to have it on 4k blu ray was great. I have a 65 inch 4k tv and I could clearly see the difference between the blu ray copy and the 4k copy, the colours are more vibrant and you wouldn't know how old the film actually is due to how good it is. If there was a downside, and it's very very minor, the 4k version doesn't have the song morning report in it when Simba is having his pouncing lesson.

Lion King is an amazing film. A true Disney classic from my childhood. This UHD Blu-ray is the ultimate version available. Stunningly crisp images even on my entry-level 4k TV. I treated all my neighbours to the opening scene :)

Stunning restoration. The vibrancy of the colours gives this twenty five year old movie an almost 3D quality. Great Atmos soundtrack enhancements too, but not overdone. If you were looking for amazing sharp images, you might be disappointed a little. Some scenes really pop, others not so much. It's all about the colour

The Lions King never looked so good. This 4K image really brings this classic film bang up to date for modern TVs. I was a bit disappointed with the sound though, as the bass is greatly under utilized. So many dramatic moments would have benefited from some deep bassy surprises and rhythms. I had to check several times to make sure my bass unit was turned on... Anyway, pretty decent CD quality sound, though not much different to Blu-Ray sound. Recommend.

Maybe the best animation picture of all time with the best picture ever seen. The color and sound are great. Go for it.

Really great for kids and adults The 4K version is superior

Very impressed with the 4k version of this. Beautiful picture quality and the sound is also great in Dolby Atmos. Worth the upgrade price from regular Blu-Ray. Hope Disney do others soon.
