My partner's dash-cam suction mount recently fell apart having been wobbly from day one (the chewed up rubber inside it suggests that it was not assembled correctly), but since there was nothing wrong with the GPS hot-shoe block that forms part of the whole assembly we purchased these instead and did a little DIY repair.I bought 3 in total for just a few pence more (including next day delivery) than one entire mount costs from the high street retailers. Apart from not saying "Nextbase" on the lever these appear to be identical to the ones supplied with our cameras but introduce less vibrations. I replaced the slightly wobbly mount on my own camera and retained the third as a spare. Hopefully these will last longer than the "genuine" Nextbase ones but at this price keeping a spare doesn't break the bank.

My one year old Nextbase Dashcam starting shaking whilst driving and I eventually figured it out to be a fault in the suction cup and its attachment to the plastic housing. I didn't want to pay for another GPS mount when all that was at fault was the suction part.I decided to buy this third party product and it has been in my car for over a month now and it is still stuck firm. Couldn't be happier, even if it only lasts a year, it works out cheaper than replacing the whole GPS mount.

You have to love amazon prime. When my original holder broke I wanted to get it fixed quickly as If you're like me you feel quite vulnerable without your 'cam and I feared Sod's law would dictate that I'd be involved in an accident on the one day I was without it. That didn't transpire luckily and thanks to amazon I was back recording my road based adventures in less than 24 hours . The part seems identical and has performed well so far, only one drop off in the six weeks or so I've had it.

Bought this as the original was irritating meThe dammed thing was shaking,This new one has no shake and appears to be stuck firmly.IMO, it's well worth the money.EDIT..... 3 months later...... Started wobbling again.Looking more closely the cam bit that pulls the sucker to the windscreen loses its pulling power.I'm going to try a sticky pad version from ebayEdit againBought a sticky pad one.......solid as a rock, a bit shorter which is an advantage.

I am so pleased with this replacement Nextbase suction holder. It works far better than the original Nextbase one. Tried to buy an original but none seemed to be available....whoop...whoop.. so glad I bought this one. I actually bought two so going forward I have a spare or to use in another vehicle.Well done...

I ordered this product to replace a damaged mount for a Nextbase 512G as it states it is for it! It’s no way the correct one, the overall suction area to the screen is smaller and hole fitment to take the ball socket that comes with the 512G is way too small. Thanks for completely wasting my time, you need to change the description!

I have a ne CR-V and have a Nextbase 312 which I install in the N/S rear of the car as my Duo doesn't cover the entire rear view.Neither the Nextbase nor this mount seem capable of holding onto the screen which I think has more curve than the previous model. Going to have to get a fixed sticky mount of some sort.

Bought as a replacement when my original Nextbase dash cam would no longer attach to the windscreen. It was easy to change and seems to be securely attached. So far so good. I hope it lasts at least as long as the original one.
