will this work with a hair dryer?

Not recommended. Women's  blow dryer require more than 1000W to operate with heat on. The good ones are on the 2000W range. Once you start blowing with heat you will eventually burn the fuse. You have to use a step up transformer with the appropriate rating. Unfortunately, any step up transformer  of 1000W and above I have seen are massive (like 10lbs). By chance I have one 1000W and another 1500W. I use the second for my  European expresso machine and works fine. I tried  one 1850W blow dryer on both and the difference is noticeable and even in the big one it is not like it used to be in Singapore @ 220V outlet. Bottom line: It is cheaper and easier to have a second 110V blow dryer.

Will it work for my air purifier? this is written on the plug: 120v ac 60hz 55w

If your air purifier input 120V AC then you don't need this transformer if using here in the US  but if you using outside US with 220v~ input voltage then u can used this Xmer by setting the correct slider switch input voltage? The your output voltage must be 110-120V and the incoming or wall voltage must be 220-240V.

No. Here's why:According to MS: Don't use an unlicensed accessory, such as a non-Microsoft replacement PSU, or any accessory that plugs in between the console and the PSU.Don't use non-standard power sources, such as generators or inverters, even if the voltage and frequency appear acceptable. Only use AC power that is provided by a standard wall outlet.Important Microsoft does not license any non-Microsoft accessories that plug into the Xbox One console's power socket. The use of any accessory other than the standard Xbox One PSU may damage your console and void your console warranty.Also the LiteFuze box...while it says 300 watt it has a warning it is not to be used for high power products like high dryers, power tools etc and if used continusoulsy it should not exceed 150w. From what I have seen the XBox one is rated around 230w. Thanks for the inquiry.
