Baby Poultry Leg Bands 1/4" Medium Chick (200)

After about a month they are not cutting into our chicks legs because they are thicker and larger than the others. We use them to tell the difference between the breeds til they are a little older!

These are great little chick bands. Easy to apply and remove. Just make sure to check them because in about three weeks they need to be replaced with larger ones.

I like the bands, have Xtra large and they are really good for 3 week and up. The medium will only be used for day old up to 10 days as I find them not to fit well after that. I have a mixed hatch of chicken breeds that I have tried them on. Marans, Orpingtons, Ameraucana, Isbars, Silkies and a few others. No bantam in my hatches.

We have these in all sizes. We breed based on color of the eggs so these have made it so much easier. Just remember to keep an eye on them and move to the next size before they get too tight.

Very difficult to get on ducklings. Wanted to use these to tell them apart easier. Managed to eventually get them on, but were too tight and started causing their legs to swell.

When I got these they had put way more in than what I paid for I have taken them off and on my chicks they work good.
