Yet another top album from JK *by J***Y on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 November 2020* Was just browsing to see that I had all the JK albums when I came across this little gem. Couldn't believe the price and wondered how on earth I could have missed it.However, bought it. Quick delivery, excellent condition.Played it for the first time & totally fell in love with every song, without having to listen twice or more.If you are a JK fan, grab this now, you will not be disappointed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ JK's best album yet *by U***M on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 April 2015* I really liked Dynamite when it first came out and thought that the Jamiroquai sound had improved and evolved from the early acid jazz days, however when I listened to Rock Dust Light Star I loved it from the outset. Sometimes albums that are a little bit different from what you are used to take a bit of getting used to but this album didn't take any growing on me. It's brilliant. A terrific mixture of emotional, funky, dancy pop with a couple of reggae influences thrown in - it works really well. The album flows together beautifully with enough variation to keep you interested and every other song being a stunner, my favourite track being 'Hey Floyd'.I was shocked to learn that this only sold around 30K copies when it was first released - it's worthy of far more. Perhaps Jamiroquai have just fallen off the radar a bit, but this really have put them back in the limelight.I hear the next album is due out in 2015 and I really can't wait - over the years I've collected all their other albums so the next one is a mandatory purchase. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Jamiroquai Rock, Dust, Light, Star *by J***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 30 November 2010* If you're into vinyl and Jamiroquai then you must get this. For those of you who are Jamiroquai fans it has more of a band style than a studio style, like the earlier albums although White Knuckle Ride is more of a funky dance groove in the style of Love Foolosophy. I'd say this is the best album for some time but that's my opinion. I'm not going to review the music as it's a matter of taste. However, the fact that it is on vinyl is awesome from my point of view as it sounds so much better than CD. The only down side is that you don't get the extra tracks that are included on the Deluxe CD version. It consists of 2 vinyls in picture sleeves in a gate-fold cover. The vinyls are very heavy, probably 180g and the sonic quality is excellent. I wish they'd release their other albums on vinyl.
