EDIT: Year two of using these and I’m still in love with them. I have 3 different ones now. They’ve held up so well to many ski trips and they keep my sensitive ears warm and protected. I just wash them on cold and hang dry them to ensure they stay in good shape. First time using a blackstrap balaclava and I absolutely love it. The material feels so high quality and nice. It fits really nicely on my head (I wear a size large ski helmet.) I love how easily you can pull the mouth piece up and down, it’s great for Covid too as the mouth part has a double layer. The mouth part has a meshy type layer on the inside which really helps keep it from sticking to your face when it gets all moist from your breath. It kept the cold wind off my face really nicely. Great for day and evening skiing. If I was gonna go night skiing on a really cold night I might get the thicker version of this for extra warmth. This regular thickness one still kept me warm too tho. I’m definitely going to eventually buy a couple of these in different colors. Really worth the price and I love all the awesome colors and patterns.

I used to just wear neck gaiters that doubles as mask and it has always been a struggle to put it on and off as a mask. I have seen a lot of people use this balaclava and I thought it’s worth a shot. And it never failed me. This is my new favorite balaclava. It’s breathable and it keeps my head warm and face warm. The size is good.

Product is great, fits well, one size fits most, good stitching, comfortable and sleek. We have purchased this brand before and they are worth the price point. The versatility is great, with options of how you wear. Very cool color options and material is sturdy and vibrant. I do wish it hadn't come in a see-through, unsealed, plastic bag. The open packaging not only is a risk for theft or loss but it feels dirty upon arrival.

Keeps my face warm in the winter months

Looks great, feels great. Keeps the wind off, doesn't slide down your neck when you pull it down under your chin. Fits great. Second season with it and it's my go-to. That's about all you need to know.

Super warm and fits tight to my face how it’s supposed to. For reference my head size is 58 cm intermediate oval which translates to a medium-large in most power/snow sport brand helmets.

Since I'm spending much more time outdoors, it was really necessary to get a balaclava. My biggest problem was that all the balaclavas that had mouth and nose coverings (where I get cold primarily) were really ugly. It goes without saying that this Blackstrap Balaclava has a bold and beautiful print with my favourite colour, blue! I was a little worried that this would be too thin, but the material is fantastic at keeping you warm. It’s super comfortable and not too tight or thick, but still keeps the cold out. As a glasses wearer the only issue is glasses fog, but that’s not really the balaclava’s fault. I was glad I spent the extra money for a reputable brand and good looking design!

These are an absolute game changer. It completely eliminates the need for a neck gaiter (sorry, Turtle Fur), and makes it a lot more comfortable as it doesn’t feel as constricting and bunched up like how a neck gaiter often feels. I liked it so much that I even got a second one for my sister, and she too, absolutely loves it as much as I do. Not only is it pretty stylish, but it is surprisingly warm, especially considering how thin it is. I honestly cannot say enough good things.

These balaclavas are made of swimsuit material. I can't believe some people were recommending them for winter. There is zero insulation elements in them, and if you don't use a neck-warmer, you will get cold in it very soon. Having "BS" written on your face is another disadvantage - couldn't they come up with a better label? Other than that, the quality and styles are nice. I am satisfied and will wear it with a neck warmer underneath. I got it for $30 which was acceptable for this balaclava. However, most of them are sold for over $50 on amazon, and they are not worth these money.

Very comfortable and warm. Also, versatile in the way it could be worn. My favorite facemask by far.
