Jane Mount's Bibliophile: An Illustrated Miscellany is an absolute gem for anyone passionate about books and reading. This beautifully crafted volume is brimming with vibrant illustrations and engaging content that celebrates the literary world in all its facets.

These books are amazing!! First of all just looking at them is a feast for your eyes. The art, the fun paragraphs about different books and book topics, *chefs kiss*. Buying this book just to look at it would have been well worth whatever I spent. The fact that I'm also getting book recommendations while reading this book, I think my TBR is crying but I'm excited. I plan on purchasing this for friends and family members as gifts because it's something that would make a great gift for any book lover, or any art lover!I purchased this one first, and within 5 minutes of flipping through it realize that I needed the Diverse Spines as well and I couldn't be happier with both books. I would absolutely recommend that you get both!!

This book might not be for everybody. I showed it to someone who reads all book on her Kindle and she wasn't that impressed. Retired and old now but I worked in various bookstores for over 10 years. I am someone who adores books. Of course, it's what's inside of a book that is most important but I often first choose a book based on its cover. This book shows some of the best covers ever. I can also get geeked over the paper and size of the book. This book reviews things like all different subjects covered by books, famous bookstores, animals in bookstore and on and on. In its discussion of genres I even discovered new books to read. and loved saying yes I read that book. I could look at it everyday and find something of interest.

"Bibliophile" is so pretty. I liked the variety of lists and topics. It's a lovely snapshot of great books of the world and all the spaces book lovers love.

I love this book. The cover and the interior pages are gorgeous. I enjoy returning to it from time to time for recommendations. Highly recommend.

An absolutely delightful book for all those who love books, bookstores, libraries, writers, people who make books available for those who may not otherwise have access to them, and people who consider reading one of life’s greatest treasures. The writer, bookstore owner, and book jacket designer bios are succinct but informative, and the book is well structured for both a first read and later referrals. The author’s illustrations and sketches are visual treats – she even provides sketches of the houses in which beloved writers lived, along with renderings of the rooms in which they wrote, and the pets that inspired them. While the book certainly serves as a definitive source for books you might want to explore, it’s much more than that. It’s an homage to writing and writers as well as to reading and readers.

Opens one’s eyes to so many book interests, amazing variety! Loved the diverse topics and genres. Easy to pick up occasionally or read straight.

I started with the postcards, loved them, then bought the notecards loved them more! Then bought the book for a gift and when I saw it, bought a 2nd for myself! The variety and detail is amazing! These products are great for the bookish bibliophile!
