This product is actually pretty cool, it comes with a little carrying pouch so you can take it anywhere. This mini chainsaw worked pretty well. I did get it stuck cutting a limb down, as with any chainsaw you just have to keep constant motion. The length of this is also not very long so reaching higher or more out of the way tree limbs was difficult, but overall this product worked as I expected and is great to carry on you while in the woods.

Light weight and cuts fast. I keep this in my motorcycle pack for down falls. First ride of the year it got my group out of a potentially difficult and strenuous situation. Feels very durable. Packs away easy. Excellent addition to any survival pack. Only draw back is that it might be a little short for a big log. Anything 12” or less this thing will eat it up! Be careful about getting it bound up, but that’s a user issue, not the saw’s fault.

I have used this to cut down some limbs anywhere from 20-40 ft in the air. it take a little finesse to get the chain situated correctly, but once you do it will cut though a good size branch in no time. I wish this came with a longer rope as well as weighted end. I had to fashion a rope and tie a rock on one end to get some higher limbs. it works just fine, but it would be nice if it came whit this.

We used this to cut a 5" high branch from a tree. We attached its ends to ropes and eventually got the chain up onto the branch. The hardest part was being able to maneuver it so that it would start cutting. If it had blades on both sides, that would help. I think the weight and positioning of the straps with our ropes caused it to lay on its side. Once we got it upright, it worked very well.

Very good quality you get what u pay for i saw some for cheaper but they diddnt match the quality of steel used for this chain the teeth are high carbon steel which is very good steel just make sure you oil it with some kind of protection so the blade wont rust and keep up with normal maintenance and this will be a perfect addition to any camp set up or bug out bag or while ur riding on the trail

The package is quite small for what this cutter can do. Quality is way better then some of of other brands i can find with the same pattern. This is a peice of kit i keep in all my rigs or even extended camping trips, just in case I need the the get through some stuff. I've had to use it a number of times on my mail route for downed trees

I like that it has cutting teeth from every element of chain. I am not physically very strong woman but even with my level of power when I saw with this tool I can see progress. I use it to cut fallen tree logs, I could use real chain saw power tool for that but I don't want mess with danger at all.

Love this saw! I used it together with towing straps to help take down oak limbs above where I could go with a ladder. (I was removing the whole tree for fire safety—NorCal). The chain is thinner than a regular chain saw and light, but worked smoothly and beautifully. The strap handles put up with a lot of abuse as well and show little wear. I now keep it with my emergency gear and am buying another for extended camping trips. The simple fact is you will get worn out before this product ever does. It takes some cardio to maintain a rhythm, but the blade will do its part. This costs more than other brands, but think of this like buying any other good tool. Worth it!

So far so good. Only had it a few days and carried out a few basic uses.Seams to work well and all appears to be good quality.

This very handy piece of kit has earned a permanent place in my rucksack; if you are an outdoors type who is handy with an axe or bush-saw, you just might find that adding this to your kit will save you a lot of weight, space and expended effort then next time you want to gather wood for a fire or shelter.
