I highly recommend!!!!!Ok, I was leery about buying a 3rd party part for my pressure cooker. After all, the appliance can be extremely dangerous if anything were to malfunction. We have the 6-in-1 IP Lux model. One night after using the cooker, we pulled out the steel pot and set it aside as normal. Also as normal, we turned the lid upside down on the appliance while we served dinner. Apparently, the valve slipped off and fell on the still hot plate inside and melted the venting holes nearly closed. Instant Pot wanted too much for a small part, so I trusted other reviews from this seller and took a chance. I used it the same day it came in the mail. Honestly, you would not be able to tell the difference without holding side-by-side; not that that matters. We love it and were able to resume normal cooking. We use our pot 3-4 times per week because we have a family of 4, and both of us work full time.

Works exactly same as the original. Has the angled edge for quick release compared to many other replacements that don't.

So happy I found this product!! I accidentally removed my lid and placed it on a burner that was still warm 🤦🏻‍♀️ and melted my valve. This one for mine perfectly. I think I have the Instant Pot Lux 6 quart. Thanks so much for this product.! I can feed my family again lol

I had set my IP 6Quart Lux Lid upside down on a hot stove burner. It melted the Steam Release Valve. I purchased this one and it fit and works perfect!!

I bought it for my six qt Insta Pot. It for great and was ready to install. I found out my problem wasn't with the valve release but the fact I hadn't gotten the stem it sits on cleaned well enough. Still having a few issues but I'm sure I'll figure it out.

I bought this as a replacement and I think this fits better than the original. It locks into the top and stays there even during storage!

Seems it’s a common problem to take the Insta pot lid off and set it upside down on the gas cooktop. Didn’t notice the pressure knob fell off and it got melted :) lesson learned. Fits perfect for the IP Lux 6 Qt. Be careful that you double check your model if I recall the Duo uses a different looking knob.

I somehow lost the original valve for my instant pot, I searched for the right looking one and found this one. Ordered this one as a replacement. As soon as it got here, I put it on and it fit and looked just like the original. For less than 10 bucks my instant pot was back in use, I recommend this part for anyone who needs to keep their instant pot going again!
