This is the kind of kit that doesn’t leave much room for creativity. This kit is the kind that wants you to make exactly what’s on the box and there’s not much wiggle room. It’s a good supplementary set of you want to incorporate it into other projects. It would make a great gift for someone new to beads or jewelry making without overwhelming them.

When you're invited to birthday party of a classmate, hard to predict what would this kid like. Most of the time, amazon wish list makes the task easier but sometimes it's not an option.I would highly recommend this kit as a gift, girls are very happy with it.

I bought this as a gift which was well received but it didn't get opened to "make" until well after the return date. I noticed other reviews saying the people they bought it for loved it and they couldn't wait to try it; my niece as well but it was very disappointing to make. To begin with, it is very hard to thread the cords through the tiny bead holes. Some of the instructions were clear as day whereas other parts we read over and over and over and still just did not make any sense. We were supposed to receive 2 caps for the tassels but only got 1. And the first step on the instructions for the braided leather bracelets was to attach the clamps on the ends (which I had painstakingly already learned how to do) but in our kit, the clamps were already attached and the bracelets were too big. This seemed like it would've been an easier project too but didn't even get to make them. The charms are adorable though, we'll just be buying different cords.

I purchased this for my daughter’s friend’s 6th birthday.The mother told me she loves Moana, but I figured every one else would get her Moana stuff.I was right!!This was the gift she stopped and commented on! She was SO happy. She said that she couldn’t wait to make jewelry with her friends! My daughter asked for her own:)Okay, it’s way bigger than I expected. The colors are beautiful and the supplies appears quality.I like to give gifts that get the children’s gears turning. That aren’t just simple toys that have limited use.It’ll take time and build memories.The birthday girl adored it and she can share or keep her creations. What can be cooler than that?!The gift that keeps giving?10/10
