Wilton Ready-to-Decorate Gingerbread House Decorating Kit

Although a bit smaller than anticipated, these little houses are quite sturdy and hold up to multiple little hands decorating at the same time!! We did purchase more candy but there was plenty of icing!!

I ordered a house and the lighthouse for a gingerbread decorating party, the night of the party I opened them and the house was broken in several pieces. The lighthouse had several shattered pieces that we were unable to mend with the almond bark. We managed to salvage it by mending it with almond bark and setting it in the fridge to harden, however some of the lighthouse were so shattered we were unable to mend them. It was very disappointing to have not one but two of the pieces ordered so broken up. so next year I will not order these online and I probably will not even buy your products in the store.I also felt there could of been more decorations included in the kits, not a good value for the money spent.

I usually get the self-assembly houses, but the grocery store near me was sold out when it was time this year, and I unknowingly bought this pre-assembled kit. From now on, we are going with this! No frustrations as the roof slides off, or walls tip over. No waiting for the icing to set before getting started with the actual decoration. My 5 year old was so excited to get started right away, and I was relieved at the work being done, leaving us to do the play.

I am not one to write a review but this is outrageous. I ordered 2 houses to do with my granddaughter a little decorating competition. When I opened the first box and saw that the house was crushed, crumbled and badly broken I was thankful that I ordered 2, but then I opened the 2nd box and it was worse than the 1st, even the decorative reindeer were cracked. I thought ok maybe we can salvage this and cut and paste to make one that we could do together but once I removed the plastic they crumbled even more. Unfortunately I cannot return them but trust and believe I will never purchase again and I discourage anyone reading this DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Arrived perfectly due to extra bubble wrap. All accessories were in tact, unlike another brand I purchased. Wilton is quality and I prefer their products to other brands. Decorating it was easy and candy supplied more than adequate. I did make extra Royal icing for more snow for the yard. I hope to find a larger one from WIlton next year!

Several pieces of the gingerbread walls were broken. Took extra time to repair.

The houses that arrived in good shape were really cute and enjoyed by my grandchildren, ages 7-16. the house that arrived broken, could not be decorated, because it was broken into too many pieces. If it had been packed better ,all three houses would have been perfect!

Makes keeping the Christmas fun easy!Kids just love the decorating. Great for a festive afternoon activity. Pricier than other years but what hasn’t been? Not going store shopping this year, so I was willing to pay more.
