We have a feisty 6 year old who loves to slam doors to prove a point when she's mad. We are parents who do not allow or appreciate door slamming. As much as we would love to remove her door for such behavior, it would be a bigger punishment for us since her room is right off the living room/kitchen. These lil guys are CLUTCH when she feels the need to slam doors, we just pop one on towards the top of her door where she can't reach and ta-da! No more slamming (though, cue the meltdown about not being able to slam her door). 10/10 recommend.

I like having my door cracked to let air in/out but my bedroom door in my new apartment wouldn’t stay cracked, it would just close unless I kept it either open half way or wide open which I didn’t want to do. Also when I kept it open half way whenever the heat/ac turned on it would make the door slam shut. I searched for door stoppers and came across these. I put one at the top of my door so now whenever I close my door it will stay open just a little bit. Also whenever the heat/ac turns on it keeps the door from slamming! Didn’t know these existed but I’m glad I found them!They are made out of a very strong and thick styrofoam.

My toddler would slam the door when she first started to learn to walk. So it was nice to have these on the top of the door to prevent her from pinching her fingers.

Don’t know how I’ve survived all these years with the slamming classroom door:O These are excellent! 4 in a pack so it was no big deal when some kid took the first one I put on the door when I left on while I had the door totally ajar. 🙄 At my high school we have an hour lunch and I always have a throng of kids in and out the entire time. Our kids can eat ANYWHERE in the building there’s so much noise in the hall I didn’t want my door ajar. But when I closed it the incessant slamming was driving me even crazier than I already am😊 This is a sanity saver. Purchased these for my cats who had a tendency to slam doors in my house (and end up trapping themselves). These are just the solution I needed. Very easy to apply/remove when needed. I use 1 per door at the top rather than the side so they can’t grab them and chew on them. Even when applying or removing these daily for months, they don’t seem to be breaking down, but they will leave a faint line on a white door if removed frequently (see picture).

My cat has a funny habit of closing doors and getting stuck in rooms….over and over. It’s actually adorable until he does it in the dead of night and scares you awake, or gets stuck in a room and goes to the bathroom on the floor because he’s stuck. Either way…these are perfect! He still pushes the doors back and forth, with a soft close and no sound! No stuck kitty or loud night sounds. Love them!

Such an amazing product! Literally a life saver and game changer! I didn't experience any odors or anything breaking. Just the mailman putting it in my tiny mailbox and it was a pain in my butt to finally get out lol but thats on them not the seller :) love love love this product and it was a surprise I got 2 sets... Some doors just have to stay open if you have cats, particularly the door to the room with the litter box. In the past "helpful" guests have closed that door and my cats were very upset. This device not only keeps the door open, but it also indicates to others that I do indeed want that door to stay open.
