Great camera, great price!
This camera is awesome! I've had several game cameras before this one, and they've mostly been okay. But this one is the best by far. The daytime pictures are so clear and the ones taken at night aren't bad. I use it to keep up with what goes through my yard (we have a small creek and I sometimes put out corn), not for hunting. So far I've captured a mother deer and her fawn many times, plus raccoons, a fox, and even a couple of very clear photos of a bear.I like that it has three preset modes and it also has a custom mode which I haven't used yet.And the batteries (it uses eight AA batteries) seem to last a long time. I've had it set up for about a month now and haven't changed batteries yet. It has some false triggers, where there's nothing in the picture (I'm assuming it's triggered by wind or a moving branch), but it doesn't seem to have as many of these as other cameras I've had.The strap is really long and was able to go around my biggest tree. Other reviewers have mentioned it should have a snap buckle on the strap, and I agree the clamping mechanism could be better. I had to thread it through, then kind of tuck the end in to make sure it was secure. But it seems to be fine. I wouldn't want to deal with moving it a lot, but so far it is holding just fine. The camera is small and seems to be built very solid. I'm hoping it lasts a long time.

Good cameras for the money
I'm using a couple of these cameras to monitor whitetail populations on a local property and so far they've worked pretty well. Image quality has been pretty good but not great. Not sure if I have them set for optimal resolution.. The pictures are certainly usable but not as crisp as others I've seen on line from the same model. I haven't used the video feature yet. They are very easy to set up with multiple pre-set selections that are easy to select. Night time infrared photos are OK but like all cameras in this class, the photos are low resolution black and white flashy images. I have a couple older stealthcam cameras that actually seem to take better photos but again I'm not sure I have these set up correctly. The first batteries lasted quite a while (several weeks) and our sandisk ultra 16 mb cards worked fine. The batteries would have probably lasted longer but we had a couple windstorms that caused the cameras to take a few thousand pictures of branches blowing in the wind. See the attached images to get an idea of photo quality. Reset and trigger time are both fast enough for my purposes. Be careful inserting sd cards as it's very easy to put them in backwards and jam them in the slot. I use security boxes and locks so I haven't used the nylon strap that comes with the cameras. Check out the attached photos for examples of day and night photos. I just noticed that some of these were taken on a foggy misty day so the pictures would have been much better in bright sunlight. All in all, good cameras for the money and very easy to set up and use. Amazon has a great price on these. From my research I think these are These are probably the best cameras available in this price range.

Great Trail Cam
Very happy with this trail cam. I have had this going for two months now and no problems. I bought it to record along a secluded and wooded part of my yard that has a trail next to it. I wanted to see what animals come by or human trespassers. Having this cam has been wonderful. I keep it set on the auto setting 10 second video. Night video has no color but is very clear. The day time video's have crisp color and very clear. I had to tilt the cam down some because traffic on the main road about 50 feet away was triggering it to record. I have recorded vehicles coming down the trail by my house that don't belong and have no reason to be here. It does have a red light that comes on when triggered at night, and once trespassers see the light and cam, they leave and haven't come back. I have recorded wildlife such as coyotes and bears coming up to get a drink from the bird bath and a neighbors dog that comes over daily. Cam has been in the pouring rain and came through just fine. No problems with rain. My only disappointment was when I tried to record a video on a custom setting of longer than the pre-set 10 seconds. The video from the custom setting was jumpy and unusable. But truthfully I've never needed to have more than the 10 second pre-set. It triggers again right away if the subject is still there and moves again. This is my first experience with owning a trail cam and so far I am very pleased with this one. I love it! ** Adding this note. I found out that when it stops recording night video's, it's time to change the batteries even though it will still record day time video. :-)

It does work decently and the weather seal is very good.
This camera works well for unattended photos. I have just a couple of issues with it. The .5 second trigger rate is not that fast and I get many empty frames when it is triggered because the animal has already left the field of view before the photo is taken. The location of the SD card slot is a bit awkward to remove the card. It does work decently and the weather seal is very good.
