Husqvarna. Svenska. Gut.
Nice medium duty chain. Keep it out of the dirt and it will cut for entire day of working with sticky pines. Perfectly happy. End of season update. I remain very pleased with this saw. Early starting problems were traced to not priming the motor well enough; the instructions suggest 6 priming pumps while I found a 7th made all the difference. Surprisingly touchy. The chain lubricating oil consumption is somewhat higher than normal for a chain saw. I recommend at the very least having oil, chain bar tool, and spare chain with you at all times. As for fuel, in my experience aluminum motors last longest when using gasoline (petrol) containing no alcohols, alcohols being rather corrosive if left in contact with aluminum metal for extended periods of time. I live in an area where one of the gas stations sells non-oxygenated racing fuel. This is the way to go if the option exists. Be certain to use a good grade of 2-cycle oil; I prefer synthetic. It the only thing between your saw and a long engine life. Chain blade life is average. If you are not all that well-versed on the subject, when the running saw blade comes in contact with the ground you should anticipate it dulling quickly. Installing a new chain blade is easier than the saws of the yore. Anticipate needing to tighten the new chain within about 10-15 minutes of cutting time. Spring is nearly here. Now that March has become April the snow will melt and soon the temperatures will remain above freezing at night. This chain saw will be called on once again to clear the seemingly endless stands of sumac, box elders, buckthorns, and oriental bittersweet which thrive all-to-well here in Minnesota. I have every expectation it will serve me well.

The real deal.
This is the OEM narrow kerf pixel chain loop that Husky dealers typically include with new saw purchases. You'd be hard pressed to find a better quality anti-kickback chain for less. On a 50cc saw, it goes through wood like butter. This chain does hold an edge quite well with very little stretching. Keep the guide bar off the ground and away from rocks, ice and snow and it will cut all day long. It is just a tad slower when bucking hardwoods like hickory and oak but that's how it's designed. To prevent premature wear and stretch, soak the chain overnight in 90-weight (gear oil) before installing. Your guide bar will appreciate it as well. Remove the carton paper from the package, invert it and add the oil until it covers the chain. It's so easy, even I can do it. We're running a Husky 353 non-cat for weekend warrior firewood cutting. We felled, limbed and bucked three cords of oak, maple and sweetgum with this chain before the chips started getting smaller. I was surprised by how much work this chain will do before needing an appointment with a file. Even then, a simple touchup does the job. A few swipes per tooth with the file and it's as sharp as new and ready for another day's work.

Fit my Remington RM5118R perfectly
This seems to be a very good quality chain, that fits as it should and has only been used for 20-25 min so far, but it cuts like a champ. I actually ended up paying about $3 more for it then its current list price, (sometimes the prices here change as often as the stock market??) Time will tell how long it will hold this edge. Would recommend and buy again.

Great chain for general use
I'm a homeowner cutting 4-5 cord of firewood per year on my Husqvarna 350 with an 18" bar. I replaced a really old chain of the same type, which had been sharpened down to its limit. A new change is always very nice and fast cutting. I've always used the Husqvarna chains and never had any problem. I've sharpened them my self for quick sharpening or had an expert do it when I want it done better! Either way, they last a long time. I wish the package was a little easier to open. It looks like Husqvarna switched to non-plastic packaging, judging by my local hardware store (which didn't have this size). Update 5/12/20 I added some pictures of the chain that I received in March 2020. Some reviewers have noted that the chain that they received was not a genuine Husqvarna chain and the gauge was bigger than the package indicated .050". The one that I received was clearly marked on the chain with Husqv and 30. Also the gauge seems correct because it fit the stock bar on my 350, which has .050 gauge.

Far better than OEM chain on my chainsaw!
Excellent Chain! I'd purchased a chainsaw from Amazon and after a cutting a couple of smaller trees, some clearing of fallen trees around my property, and little else, the original chain was dull and having a lot of trouble cutting. It was also stretching excessively, requiring adjustment after virtually every 5 minutes. I know, I know, you're supposed to sharpen the chain. But to my mind if a chain dulls this fast and stretches this much I question the quality of the chain and have little desire to waste time sharpening an inferior grade chain. From my motorcycle riding experience (lots of motocross) I know if a chain stretches a lot it's a cheap chain. I bought this and my chainsaw is cutting through fallen trees like a hot knife through butter. Initially it stretched a bit but then settled down and only needs a check and minor adjustment for each large session I use it for. Very sharp and cuts beautifully. I will be sharpening this when it gets dull, definitely a keeper.

These are perhaps the best chains I've used. They stay sharp longer, take less to cut because of their technological design and hence save you fuel and effort. You go one cutting longer.
