I've wanted the ceramic chocolate frog box replica for a while now, but the price point was just a little too much for me. I stumbled across this one from the Noble Collection and it's perfect. The price, the quality, the details...all perfect. The box is very sturdy. Made of plastic, but I'm very ok with that. It actually looks like the cardboard ones until you touch it and realize that it's not made of paper. This box is going to last! The chocolate frog itself is cute. The feet are very floppy and stretchy while the body is definitely squish-able. There's a faint scent. Not sure if it's supposed to be chocolate or not, but it's not a bad scent. It's not plastic-y scented at all which is nice. The final part of this is the witches and wizard card of Albus Dumbledore. It's the same size as the one you get in the "real" chocolate frog boxes. I happen to have the Dumbledore card from that, and the pictures are totally different. I appreciate that since it's not a true duplicate. The card is holographic but honestly, the picture doesn't change much, just his face a bit. The back has the description of what he is famous for. Over all, this is one of my favorite replica pieces. It's inexpensive so it fits almost anyone's budget. It's well made: I saw no flaws in the paint job or molding of the frog. It's not super breakable so I'm not worried if it gets knocked over, it'll break. I'd definitely recommend for kids or adults with kids (or pets) that want a bit of Harry Potter magic without the danger of the case breaking!

I gave this as a gift to my son on his 11th birthday which of course he was celebrating Harry Potter style due to his age. The first thing he said when he opened it and saw that it was a chocolate frog was that he wasn't going to eat it and he wanted to save it. I just smirked and waited for him to discover that it was in fact a rubber prop. We both loved that it came with a wizard card and that everything was high quality. He actually dropped the whole thing onto the tile floor in a our kitchen as he was unwrapping and nothing brise. It looks just like the moving chocolate frog in the movies and even came with the same wizard card that Harry received on his first Hogwarts Express ride. My son took pictures that to send to his Potter enthusiast friend to verify that he had in fact been accepted into Hogwarts and here was his proof. This was followed by the frog riding on the shoulder of his Ravenclaw robes for hours. If you have a Hogwarts lover in your family, I highly recommend, especially for children due to the rubber toy-like quality.

Honestly this was better quality than I thought. The frog is cute and rubbery. My boyfriend is keeping it in the box so it displays the box and frog. If you take it out of the box you can't see the frog.

The frog itself is really cool - just like the ones in the movies, but also a bit fragile at the toes. The frog box is plastic and doesn't feel cheap. I like that Dumbledore is the card for all of them, instead of not knowing which witch or wizard you might end up with. The box packaging that it came in arrived cracked and broken in a couple of the corners - not sure if that was due to shipping. I started a return then opted to gift it without the plastic packaging...which wouldn't be good for a collector, but this was a gift for fun. Overall, I highly recommend as a gift for any super Harry Potter fan.

For the price, this was a great little gift for our resident HP fan. Not really a toy or for the very young. Just a decent prop replica with well made packaging that was printed with no giveaways that this wasn't from the world itself (like no "Made In Poughkeepsie" on the bottom). I don't think it's in the product description but worth mentioning that the frog itself is beautifully sculpted and rubbery rather than hard plastic or resin. We love you shiny, stretchy, jiggly fake chocolate frog. The lenticular card in the bottom was nice too. Just a fun little desk decoration for the thirty year old child in your life.

This is so lovely, as advertised, it’ll go great with my collection for the Grandcherubs. Arrived on time, packaged securely, worth the price, rather special. Highly recommend
