Zatarain's Crispy Southern Style Fish Fri, 5 lbs

Bulk buying is the best way to go if you cook a lot!!

Was so happy when I saw my order arrived in tact. I was worried without proper wrapping and protection it would have been all over my other items ordered as well. Just fried up some fish using this mixture, and while I would prefer a more crumbly mixture and coarse cornmeal mix, this fried up perfectly. You may feel the need to season up your fish before hand, and this mixture is on the bland side, but WOW, it hit the spot, and covered my fish very well.

For those who enjoy the Zatarains products, as we do, purchasing our favorite fish coating in a large quantity 5 pound bag is much easier and less expensive than the individual boxes.

I really love that I don't have to add anything else. The flavor is salty, only slightly spicy and it fries up nice and crispy.

I saw that some reviewers found this too salty, but I didn't. I like salt and felt the salt and flavor ratio was very nice. Buying this seasoning in bulk is the way to go and will encourage you to cook more. I know that's made my family VERY happy. The taste is great and it's easy to use. You'll enjoy the flavor and ease of use.

I love it because it's crispy light and flavorful without being loaded in sodium definitely a Winner!!

This is a blah fish batter. Zatarains crispy southern is our favorite fish batter but this is clearly a knock off. Total garbage!

Our family loves this "southern style fish fry" because it has a fine texture. We have had some fish fries that were so course you missed the flavors.
