Good consistency and not much odor. Very thick but good for oil painting and making it dry slower. Colors are richer using the oil

This is the real deal stand oil. Thick and rich. I was taught to use 1:1 ratio this and turps to modify oil paint at Academy of Art years ago, and it still holds. Impregnates your oils with that shine and high gloss.

I mixed it with turps for a finish on cedar. It went on thin and smooth, took 4-5 days to dry between coats, and brought out the cedar's natural red tones beautifully.

I thought I was buy this oil for thinning purposes, but it acts more as a drying agent. Not what I expected.

I am a disabled vet that loves to paint. I go from my bed to my wheelchair most of the time. I needed this oil as a medium for my paint to help slow down the drying time as well to extend my oil paints for me. On a very limited budget, the stand oil fit all my needs. I will most definitely purchase this product again.

I've done a whole lot of oil paintings in my 57 years and this oil is the best because its nice and thick and gives the painting much texture, bring the color more to life,.
