Not a total trainwreck!
This is one of those cheap toys that will either last you a few months or breakdown in the first few playsessions depending on how lazily it was thrown together at the sweatshop. There are no instructions on the package, but it's cute that there's a note telling us to retain it for our information. In case you don't know what it is you're buying, it's a plastic doohickey that launches spinning discs. To wind it up, notch a disc onto the barrel of the pistol thing and turn it until you build up the desired amount of tension. Pull the trigger to send it flying. The barrel clicks as it's turned, so you can set it to a consistent tension every time.If you're playing with a pet, try around 20 clicks and launch it straight up. If there's any consistency between these toys, that will cause it to rise, hover briefly and decend gracefully.Haha good luck with that.If you want to launch it into the sun, give it a few more turns first. It's terrifying to feel all that potential energy quivering menacingly under a thin plastic shell, threatening to explode into colorful shrapnel. It's actually a fun toy, you can even launch the discs horizontally like mini death blenders, they fly far.If you're going to shoot these at each other you may want to sand down the rough edges on the discs' rims and blades first.

The internal mechanism on the last one I ordered broke and that may happen again but cat loves watching these float around and chasing them.

Fun for kids and the adults
Lots of fun for my 5! Year old grandson. But not easy for him to wind up. Several times it would go off in my had and you could hurt yourself. A little caution and maybe help the little ones prep it

Broken upon arrival, but a hit
One of the helicopters was cracked in half upon arrival, but it still flies. My kids like it, but are not very able to wind it on their own. Decent little toy.

Inconsistent performance
Bought these for my kids For laughs as they used to use them for hours at a time when they were young. Only Problem is that only one of them worked correctly and the other not at all so clearly not made as well as they used to be made

Good quality! Shoots discs a long distance
Works great! Shoots discs at a great distance. You need to wind the discs carefully as the launcher’s plastic construction is delicate. Much higher quality than any other disc shooting toy I have purchased. Didn’t break after the first few times like other cheaper models do.

Fun toy, but broke after two days.
I bought this for my cat, he loved chasing the discs. Unfortunately it broke after two days. One of the three prongs that hold the discs in place as they wind up broke off. Can’t fix it!

Broken within 2 minutes
This product was so cheap that it broke within the first two uses. Once the fins are broken off the items don't launch anymore. Complete waste of money!

Never worked
It was broken as soon as it arrived. It never worked. I returned and received a prompt refund.

Not what I expected
My 6 year old grandson couldn’t wind this up without an adults help. Definitely not for children’s pleasure. Only created frustration.
